Edward D. Wood-style 80's cheese horror!

What would happen if the local lonely stretch of desert that doubles as a "Lovers' Lane" was actually inhabited by horrible monsters, ready to burst forth one evening and turn the night into a nightmare? "Curse of the Blue Lights," in answering that question, reveals itself to be a very silly, very entertaining film. It is a supernatural adventure--ordinarily, one might call it a horror film, but the acting performances seem right out of the local community theatre, and the musical score is just a little too upbeat.
Despite the breezy tone, however, the film delivers the horror goods: Zombies, demons, goblins, skeletons, and ghouls abound in this crazed free-for-all of a monsterfest. There is even a giant, off-white "Muldoon Man" monster that is resurrected for the big finale at the end. Many of the gruesome special effects are actually very well rendered, and it seems obvious that a lot of work went into this film.
There is very little in the film that is likely to scare anyone. But if you're like me, that's not why you bought the film in the first place. This is entertaining cheese, a lot of fun to watch, and recommended. Put down that modern horror film garbage and watch some vintage 80's fun like this!
