It is not a movie. It is more like pages of a book being narrated but on a DVD. I bought it for my 3 yr. old but he does not like it.

Despite the cover, which would imply that this was a cartoon, it was in fact more like a short tv episode in a 1950s style (old-fashioned "dolls" narrated by an adult). There were two other unrelated shorts on the DVD. Since I was expecting an entire DVD of Curious George cartoons (like on tv), this was quite disappointing. VERY old-fashioned in style.

Cute dvd. My son loves it. He is into Curious George and George of the Jungle.
As long as there is a George or a monkey, he is all good.

The movie was alot older than it appeared to be. Can we say...1960. Great condition, but very ver old. Not anything like the TV series I am sure your child is use to watching. My son does not recognize George or the man in the Big Yellow Hat.

I loved the movie and expected this to be the same but instead the characters are like stuffed animals being moved around the screen and someone narrating the movie. A big dissappointment. I'm not sure what age would enjoy it.

I was expecting this to be more like the cartoons on tv that they have now of curious george. This dvd is really not what I expected and my son will watch it from time to time but he really doesn't seem to stay with the whole thing.

Never received item, seller repeatedly emailed me to notify me of a delay, then finally offered me a refund. The only reason I gave 2 stars was for the refund offer, otherwise...terrible!!

My daughter absolutely LOVES this dvd; from the 15 minute George clip to the bonus animations, this is close to 1 hour of quality family entertainment that you and your little ones will watch again...and again...and again!...

Daughter loves Curious George. I bought this to go in her portable dvd player for trips. Such a wonderful and curious little monkey! Great for any Curious George fan, or just for any child that loves monkeys!

I was a little skeptical when my 2.5 year old and I first started watching this one. It was a copy of a 1940's Curious George show and the charachters looked slightly different and the setting in the hospital was obviously from the '40's. As soon as it was done, my daughter wanted to watch it again and again...and again! This is, officially, her favorite dvd. After 2 weeks, she has it memorized and says the characters lines as they say them. She's never been this crazy about a dvd. I guess there's something to be said for the "good old days." Very cute dvd with a lesson for kids too!

Good DVD reminds me of when I was a child. My son likes it too. He adores Curious George. He will watch it over and over again. He has been a fan of Curious George for 3 years. He is now 4 and his love for George seems to get stronger and stronger by the day. Thanks again for the movie. My only complaint is, I wish there were more than one episode on the DVD. The other movies were fine but my son only watches the move with Curious George.

We loooooove this DVD. It is a wonderful children's dvd and everyone who likes Curious George should consider adding this to their library.

My daughter LOVEs this movie. It is VERYenjoyable and funnny. We thought it was going to be more f a cartooon though. but we all al having fun watching it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Granddaughter recently got into Curious George and I got the DVDs for her. She really likes them and has been entertained by them. Right price, fast service and I didn't have to run around looking for them, a couple of clicks and I had them. Thank you

It's claymation - but my 2 year old likes teh George movie, but always leaves when the other movies are on.

I bought this as a replacement, as the old DVD was severely scratched. My grandchildren LOVE this DVD. My grandaughter has the book and reads along. My grandson enjoys "Morris has a Cold", another movie on this DVD. Buddy Hacket does a WONDERFUL job in "Mouse Soup", also on this DVD. All and all, I would say this is one of the best DVD's I've seen for children.
