Cult Classics - 20 MoviePack (DVD, 2006, 4 - Disc)

This is a nicely packaged collection of twenty classic exploitation movies on four DVDs. The collection is digitally remastered and the quality is good on all but a few selections. The producer of the collection inserts their company logo intermittently throughout each movie which I found annoying. Unfortunately, many companies releasing public domain films will do this. The films are representative of a more innocent time in our history, thus the subjects which include sex, dope and prostitution seem tame by today's standards. I was fasinated by many of the titles such as Chained for Life, The Road to Ruin, Mad Youth, Ten Nights in a Barroom and Test Tube Babies. I had seen a few of the films before and many were new to me. The latest film was The Wild and Wicked released in 1956, the earliest Joyless Street with Greta Garbo released in 1925. I highly recommend this collection to anyone interested in classic movies, the films are truely a time machine providing us with a picture of the era when they were made.

the film in this collection are not only a find, but they are all enjoyable, adult themed flix that entertained for hours. I would reccomend this collection to any one that enjoys old quirky films.

The movies are even funnier and more entertaining than I thought. Had great fun watching them. Great price for so much entertainment.

a collection of B movies mostly from the 30's. all are bad directing, acting, and story. but they are exactly what i expected, so i am satisfied with the dvds. i view the movies as attempts to push the envelope of morals and the various no-nos the industry was under. also the drug culture was used as a subject although the major studios stayed away from it for the most part.

Picture quality is poor, sections of atleast one movie are missing. The titles are the most entertaining part of my purchase.

I feel i had to wait way too long for it to arrive....and it was awful anyway, but that was a poor chose on my part !

Just a whole lot of fun here, for the price. I'm a pretty big fan of these movies, and theres stuff here I've never seen before. Sometimes the quality of the video, or the sound, isn't 100%, but this was a great deal.

The 1st purchase was for a Christmas present. I heard such raves about the fun movies that I ordered a set for myself!

A lot of the movies are horribly boring... but at the low price, it's worth it for the few good ones!

My original rating would be 4/5, but I have a hard and strict rule-if you add an onscreen logo, or "bug" to movies I've paid good money for, you automaticly get the lowest score possible.

My Fiance is a old time movie buff and when he opened this one up at Christmas he was floored. He remembered all the old movies and started talking about old stories and memories. Can't wait to finish watching them.

I BOUGHT IT AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR MY HUSBAND, WHO ENJOYS THE OFFBEAT AND/OR STRANGE. HE ALREADY HAD A COUPLE OF THE TITLES ON VHS AND I FIGURED THIS WOULD BE A GREAT ADDITION TO OUR DVD COLLECTION.

Well I should have known what I was buying it wasnt as steeme as I thought and I guess my mistake was looking at the jacket pictures which were provocitive much more than the movies that I so far have watched. Thankyou
