Cuisinart TTG-500 3.5-Cup Coffee Maker

Brand has good reputation. Coffeemaker brews excellent coffee, takes little room on counter and is easy to use. Price was right. I'm pleased with my purchase.

I bought one of these for myself. I am the only one in the family that drinks coffee so don't need to make a large pot. This makes just two travel mugs full. Perfect. My daughter-in-law is in the same situation, so I bought this one for her. It uses either paper filters or the "gold" reusable filters.
the one thing I dislike about the product is that it takes several minutes for the coffee to drip through, so the cup doesn't get hot as the coffee brews. The result is a less than steaming cup of coffee.
The solution suggested in the manual is to pour hot water into the cup and let it sit prior to making your cup. These cups are not microwavable, so you have to heat water - either by running water, or heating it in the microwave and pouring it into the cup.
I ended up with 2 ceramic mugs that work perfectly.
You can brew just one cup or the two cups. Overall I would say it was a good investment.

This is so perfect and works so well that I am ordering another one. One to keep on the boat and one in the house for when you are in the mood for one cup of coffee. They could not make a better product! Brews really fast and right into the cup. Just love it.

I was looking for a 2 cup coffee maker for about 2 months and I could not find one to fit my needs. I tried a couple of different ones and did not have good tasting coffee. This one however has made a great cup of coffee since I got it. Great product.

This machine can brew one cup or both. The coffee is nice and hot when finished and you can just walk away while it does it's job. This was a replacement for a similar product I had but I believe this one is superior to that machine.

This is the only way to get a quick coffee fix..without the MESS & WASTE...when your only craving for "a cup" ..I recommend this product 110%

I love this Cuisinart Coffee Maker, you can make coffee and its on the go. You don't have to pour it from a coffee mug to a travel size cup. Its very good and the coffee is hot.

My husband and I were tired of the carafe because we were always breaking them and wasting coffee. Then we tried a Cuisinart coffee maker with a built in carafe. The coffee was cold after being brewed. We opted for this TTG-500 3.5 Cup Coffee Maker and we love it. It allows my husband and I to make our coffee at different times in the morning and it comes out perfectly hot and fresh. My mother-in-law uses it to heat up water for tea as well (she has one too). When we have guests I brew both cups and pour the coffee into cups - not too inconvienant. All three of us are perfectly satisfied with our machines and wish we had them sooner. Takes #2 filters.

Outstanding product. I am using it in my offie for my daily cup of brew. I no longer need to go down to the local coffee shop for a great cup.

I bought this a birthday gift for my husband. He was buying gas station coffee instead of making a pot at home. He uses it several times a week. It saves money, time & the enviroment by not using styrofoam cups. The coffee is much tastier too.

perfect for 1 or 2 drinker families. only make as much as you need, with no coffee pot to clean, as it makes it directly in the cup(s). of course, you'll still need to pull out the regular 10 cup maker for parties, this is the best everyday coffee maker i've ever seen / used.

I really like the idea that at the start of a busy day, I can brew coffee directly into the travel mug eliminating the fuss of waiting for 12 cups to brew before I can make a cup of coffee on the fly. The design of the coffee maker is very attractive and I have the choice of brewing one cup or two. I was also very pleased with warranty on this item. My fiance and I are both disabled and we are busier now than when we worked full-time and most mornings are extremely busy and this coffee maker is the perfect kitchen appliance for two people on the run. I would love to see more appliances like this one.
