Cuisinart DTC-975N 12-Cup Coffee Maker

I have bought numerous coffee makers with carafes in the past. The is the best I have ever had. It keeps coffee piping hot for 6-8 hours and warm even longer. The automatic timer is very simple to program.

The cuisinart is also the only 12 cup carafe coffee maker that I have found. It is well worth the price. I would have paid much more than I did for this one. It is well worth it. I will definately by another one in the future.

Makes a decent cup and keeps it warm, but the grinds container tends to plug up the top of the carafe because the valve pokes up into the filter creating a hole and grounds go everywhere...not a good thing. Would not purchase again unless the company offers a permanent gold plated steel filter.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for someone.That someone told me they didn't want to celebrate Christmas, so I gave the gift now =) What the hey... why not a happy Tuesday gift? Anyway, I get to hear all the time about how awesome this coffee maker is. This was the only white, thermal, 12-cup coffee maker I could fine with all the extras, like auto-shut off, etc... It does everything and has everything. I highly recommend it.

I love this coffeemaker because it has a large opening for pouring in the water, it has a "ready" alarm which beeps when the coffee is ready...but most of all because it makes superb coffee!! It features an auto timer which needs only to be "unset" ONCE for weekends and then reset ONCE for the work week.

We buy coffee from Peets Coffee & Tea and this machine does their excellent blends justice. I researched this product thoroughly before buying and I have no regrets. In fact, I can't recommend it highly enough!

I love the fact that it is a double wall, stainless steel crafe. It is a 12 cup unit, and I like the fact that it is white. Easy to keep clean, and not too much area on the lid to stain with coffee oils. The above facts are why I purchased this unit. Makes a wonderful cup of coffee, and really stays hot for 6 hours and better. The fresh flavor remains in the pot to the last cup........Thanks
