Cuisinart Cup-O-Matic SS-1 Coffee Maker

I love this machine, and I love the fact that you can use ground coffee or coffee pods if desired. I'm a coffee lover and I would highly recommend this machine. I am also a big fan of Cuisinart products, I've have upgraded every time a new machine comes out and am very satisfied. Kudos to Cuisinart, no more wasted coffee. It's quicker than Instant coffee.. :)

The coffee maker is awesome! My husband absolutely loves it! It is exactly as it was described! It makes anything from 4 to 12 ozs. at a shot and you can use pods or your own coffee. That was a big seller for us! It makes getting coffee very easy and great tasting too!

Love the ability to use any coffee that I want...not limited to "Pods". Makes a great cup of coffee. Only downfall is the fact that it is somewhat loud when brewing. Otherwise, It is easy to use! I love mine.

We have been using the Cup-O-Matic for about a week now and I love it! It makes one great cup of coffee which is why I bought it, for one cup of coffee at a time. I love the fact that I can use pods or ground coffee. The noise isn't bad, it only lasts for a few seconds and the vibration is usually minor. The only real problem is that sometimes the amount brewed is inconsistant, for example, 10 ounces isn't always 10 ounces. Over all I am glad I purchased it and will continue to use it every day.

Love Cuisinart products and waited until they made a "pod type" hot drink maker before buying that type of machine. During the process of making a cup of coffee/tea, the motor that pumps the water through the grounds is especially loud and vibrates so much that cups have actually fallen off of the shelf they sit on while being filled. Disappointed with the product. Have come to the conclusion that perking is the only way to get a tasty cup of coffee.

Everything is perfect, exactly what we needed to replace our old machine. I didn't want to be restricted to using pods, and the fact that this one doesn't even need a filter is even better. Only slight problem-the machine came with pods so we tried them. We found that the water over-flowed for some reason where it fills into the pod. Apparently something to do with the pod not absorbing the water fast enough. So we ditched those pods and just use our own grounds.

The coffee maker does make a lot of noise, but just while brewing a cup of coffee. After placing a computer mouse pad under the machine it is less noisy. Reminds me of noise when grinding coffee beans or crushing ice. Stay close by the machine when brewing as there is some vibration and lighter coffee mugs could vibrate out of the reach of the stream of coffee -- makes a big mess. Now that the negatives have been addressed -- it makes a great cup of coffee quickly. For households with different coffee tastes it can't be beat. Great for those living alone. You can use coffee pods, ground coffee, or grind your own beans. Choice of cup sizes and strength of coffee. Could also use tea but can't speak to that. Does not take up a lot of valuable counter space. Got this coffee maker for a great price on EBay. Remember to register your maker as a gift for warranty.

This coffee maker resolves all the morning discussion about "the coffee is too strong or too weak". Each cup is brewed fresh and at the requisite strength of the individual initiating the brewing. It was easy to set up, and it is easy to operate. It does make a bit of noise (not as quiet as a run of the mill drip maker) but the noise is not overly loud. So far my husband, step-son and I have been delighted. We did invest in a pod maker to avoid having to deal with the mess of coffee grounds (wonderful little gadget).

Great coffee maker, makes an excellent cup of coffee. Only very minor downside is availability if pods.They're out there but my local Stop & Shop is limited. Otherwise definitely a worthwhile investment. Being able to use ground coffee is a definite plus as well. I would rate this 5 out of 5 stars, really no complaints, great coffee maker, I'd buy another
