Cruel Death by M. William Phelps (2009, Paperback)

I bought this book because these killers are from where I live. They mention Altoona ( my town) alot in the book. I am not that impressed with the story telling of the book, writer seems to jump around alot. Since I live where the killers lived, I do think some of what the writer wrote are not true facts. this is a book that you can skip some and still keep caught up. wouldn't read again thats for sure, buy a back issue of the newspaper and you would get better facts.

Interested in this book due to my proximity to the case --- my brother knew the female murderer. Phelps writes an in depth factual review of the evidence and presents it, in all its gore, in a detailed and flowing manner.
