Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge (Xbox, 2003)

I bought this game on eBay pretty cheap. I always wanted to buy and play this game because it was one of the first games out for Xbox Live. The gameplay was good, it was pretty fun, BUT, I had got it for Xbox Live and when I signed onto Xbox Live, there was barely anyone on to play with. I think that was mainly because its a very old game. Anyway, the gameplay was great and so where the graphics. Also the area was very explorable, meaning there were no "invisible walls". I would have enjoyed this game alot more if I had gotten it sooner and there were more people playing it on Xbox Live.

You can often get this video game for less than $20.00. It is an awesome video game, especially if you are a fan of aviator style shooting. It is a cross between old B-52 bombers and futuristic planes. The gameplay and graphics are gorgeous...and online play is so much fun. Of all of the Xbox Live games, this one is definitely in my top 5. It is within the Xbox Classics genre and still has stable sales. Perfect for all ages. Easy to get used to and a joy to play! Add it to your collection for a great price!

This game gets a 5/5 from me. The storyline is one you can stick to, the gameplay is great. Even though this game is a few years old it is still worth playing.

I was charged $29 shipping for $8 merchandise. Way too expensive because my purchases didn't arrive until two weeks after it was shipped!! When I contacted the store, they said that I needed to contact the Postal service myself. Bad customer service, outrageous shipping cost(for snail mail!!?), and there was no way to see how much shipping would cost until you purchase the item(s)...no way to attract return business.

I love this game. My only complaints are that Storymode is great, but could have gone a little further. My other complaint is that there should be a lot more multiplayer levels, like 50. Anyway, if you don't have this game in your collection you're missing out because it is definitely one of XBOX's top 10.

This is one of my favorite games. I enjoy the idea of flying old planes and using a blimp as a hanger.

This is just a really fun game. The cutscenes and voice acting are well above average. The last third of the game is way too tough (without cheating) but most of it is challenging without being frustrating. Also, the graphics and controls make it fun to just fly around.

Even though this game has a couple of years on it. Its still a very fun and enjoyable game. The multiplayer is the most addicting to play.

I bought this game for several reasons. I was looking for a game that offered a unique twist to the "been there-done that" games on the market and we've all been there, right? This particular game had proven itself thru good reviews and This is my first attempt at a "flying" game. I really enjoyed the game a lot. It has a good story line and the controls are easy to pick up. There's a good mix of just plain fun play and some rather challenging, if not down right hard, tasks to complete. But even the harder play was fun! The only problem I had was making sharp U-turns with the planes which could have been my lack of coordination or, perhaps, the way the game was intended to be played. It was a pain in the rear for me, not to mention time consuming, when in combat or making attempts at picking up upgrade tokens or other items. Even if you aren't into flying, which I'm not, this game is worth checking out. It will provide enough entertainment to make it worth the money. I gave it a 4 out 5 because I simply didn't feel I was able to maneuver the planes as well as I should be able to and there were a few times, during very difficult missions, that I yearned to be on the ground with a sword or a butt burning spell!!

I thought this was a great game at a great price. The graphics are top notch and it is x box live compatable One of my favorite things about the game is it doesnt have invisible walls to run into it is completly free roam. You should be able pick up a copy for around 10-12 dollars.

Crimson skies is an all around great game. Good graphics, music, game play,and multiplayer mode. As i said in the title this the very best airplane shooter there is to date. I recommened ages 10 and up. Also play online!!!!!!!!

Very nice playing game. Good Story line cool planes and weapons. Arcade type play though. I love more simulator feel like Ace Combat series but still nice flying game.

This game was bought because my son LOVES airplanes. It has quickly become a family favorite. The graphics are great and we laugh through the dogfights as we try to hunt each other's airplanes.

This is a great simulaton game. The environmental graphics are terrific and the action gripping. There are hours and hours of gaming excitement. Sequals to Crimson Skies would be a great additions to the gaming library.

I am an old fan of the relese title for PS2 called "Sky Odyssey." I,ve been Playing that game since i got a PS2 and still love it. I got this game cause i needed a new flying game and i already had the only good one for Plastation so i went to gamefaqs.com and did my homework and found this game for my X-box. you obtain ten or so different planes all of which you can up-grade, missions are as videogame as they come. Fly here, shoot them, bring the delivery here ect. If you want an entertaining flying game then this is your ticket to the sky. i ended up getting it for just under five bucks with shipping and it is well worth it.

This is one Xbox title that truly demonstrates the horse power of the game system. Smooth controls, very appealing graphics and fun. Highly recommended for xbox owners.

"Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge" is a must have title to add to one's collection of original Xbox games. You play a pilot named Nathan Zacharay who, throughout the game, builds up an arsenal of fighter planes to take down enemy bases and units. The gameplay is addictive and doesn't ever seem to get old. This was one of the original games I owned for my Xbox and was also one of the games that spent a long time in my system's disc tray. The online play is superb as well, giving you the option to pick out what plane you desire to have the dogfight with and allowing you to play in a variety of well-designed maps. Overall, if you owned an original Xbox and never played it, grab it. If you own a 360, grab it. It's worthy of being in your collection.

I bought this because when my original Xbox died on me, I sold it and every game I owned for it to put my money towards a 360. I eventually got the 360 and I'm looking to rebuild my old collection again.

Pros: Excellent multiplayer experience, great controls, well-designed stages, addictive gameplay.

Cons: Can't really think of any. I should probably change my review from good to excellent.
