I bought this film because I remembered it as a kid and loved it. Burt Lancaster stars as the captain of a pirate ship. Watching Lancaster perform the many acrobatic scenes was a thrill, what an actor. The story follows the pirates attacking a rich ship with weapons, they plan on selling the weapons to make a profit. They end up banding with some rebels to overthrow the governor. Lancaster falls in love with the rebel leaders daughter and fights to rescue her.
