Crimson Night by Trisha Baker (2002, Paperback)

This book was even better then the first. Crimson Shadows kept my attention and it shows another side to Lord Baldevar that makes you want Meghann to be with him. It brings love, hate, endless confusion and choices that most everyone has to make in a relationship. First Mehann has to decide whether she is willing to give up her dream of having kids because she is afraid Lord Baldevar has a plan to dominate everyone by taking her child and raising it for evil. Charles brings Dr. Lee in to try and abort the baby because it seems Meghann is dying but he is unsuccessful because Meghann is not mentally willing to lose her child. When they realize Lord Baldevar is the only person Meghann can drink from to survive he slowly comes and wins back Meghanns heart. In the mean time Meghann is set on curing Jimmy because his Transformation did not go successfully so he is turned into a bloodthirsty Vampire. Lord Baldevar saves Meghann from other Vampires on Alcuins side trying to kill her and her child and she realizes that Lord Baldevar really truely does care for her and do anything for her and there child so they get married while Charles and Lee are out of town. Meghann slowly has to break the news to Charles and he is only concerned about her happiness so he puts all hatred he has for Lord Baldevar aside for the love he has for Meghann. You'll have to read the rest to find out what happens with the child or children and if Jimmy ever comes out of his catatonic state. I very much do recommend this book to everyone who loves a good Vampire Book
