Anyone who followed Monster Movie Matinee on Saturday's as a kid will love this collection of all three Creature of the Black Lagoon classics. These are high quality reproductions of the classic films from the 1950's. Gotta give the Creature some love. Enjoy!

The Legacy Collection is a wonderful compliation of the following: CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON 1954 is one of the better creature-feature from the early to mid-50's, with Richard Carlson & Julie Adams which takes place in an isolated upper Amazon tributary. Look for the way the local archaeologist extracts a piece of Gill-man fossil for study. Won't work in present-day in-situ digs. REVENGE OF THE CREATURE 1955 again takes place in the Amazon, then in Florida, finally back to the Atlantic Ocean, with John Agar & Lori Nelson. After about 15 minutes, be looking for cameo scenes of Clint Eastwood (first casting role, unbilled), in a lab with lab coat, having a humorous discussion about lab mice with John Agar (Eastwood looks just like he walked off RAWHIDE as Rawdy Yates). THE CREATURE WALKS AMONG US 1956 takes place in Florida with Jeff Morrow, Rex Reason & Leigh Snowden. Great commentaries & back-ground information given by David Skal, Tom weaver, Lori Nelson & Bob Burns, with a special documentary BACK TO THE BLACK LAGOON. As with all 50's & early-60's, there is the manditory love interest that captivates 25-50% of the movies. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy!!

A great DVD for the "monster" genre collector, and builder of Aroura movie monster models. Great re-mastering into digital format, and a complete collection of all three "Creature features." Highly recommended for the movie buff or model builder.

This is the first "creature" movie. This monster was the driving force behind such famous movie monsters as the Predator and Aliens. It is well worth any price. I'm very proud to have this Legacy collection as a part of my home movie selection!

Well I used to watch this when i was a kid it was my first scary movie I ever watched but it wasn't scary at all lol but I like it alot.

The Creature Legacy collection, along with the other Legacy Collections, is a must have for horror fans. Three great horror films that contain deeper subject matter than most. Add in the cool documentary, and you've got a set that you can't go wrong with.

This 2 disc dvd set is a must have.All the creature features are presented along with extras in great picture quality.

This was one scary movie for me when I was a kid and over the years I had seen the 1st film loads of times and loved it. The 2nd and 3rd films, I had never seen as they are rarely if ever shown on UK tv and the DVD was unavailable in this country. I decided that it was worth buying a region 1 DVD and using my PC to play it. I was right as the films are excellent and very nostalgic for me. The overall package has extras ( commentary,stills,trailers etc.) which make this well worth the money. No downside for me. 10/10

I loved these movies as a kid, and I still love them today.A great science fiction film has action, imagination,suspence, they don't have to be so graphic that theres nothing left for ones imagination. The original creature from the black lagoon is a classic film, and no matter what age you are it still incorborates the three magic principles action, imagination, suspense.

The DVD was in excellent shape. The case was in very good shape and the seller wrapped the collection very well. With this purchase I am one step closer to a complete monster collection.

We loved the old time movie making magic of the film, a classic that can not be remade with the same impact and originality. It is a classic trilogy not known to many but aqppreciated by a few.

I remember seeing this on TV in the early 60's....I know it did not scare me, but
I thought he was awesome....what a neat monster design..,these dayz kids only see super make up effects and digital creations...."Black and White" ohh my God...how lame...but then they sit and watch it and want to see more....I have several models and actions figures of these great Monster including an original movie Poster....kids today need to see classic....tie them down stuff'em with real movie popcorn and let them enjoy.........

I BOUGHT THIS MOVIE FOR MY BROTHER. WE GREW UP IN THE 70'S AND LOVE ALL THE OLD CALSSIC MOVIES. I LOVE THESE OLD CLASSIC MOVIES ON BLACK AND WHITE.

I purchased this DVD, for my husband, who loves things that will scare you, and are spooky, and movies from times past. The movie lives up to all of those things. He is very pleased with the quality of the DVD and of course, he just enjoys the movie in general. It brings back, the feelings of when he was a kid, and saw the movie for the first time, and it scared the living daylight out of him. Now, he can recapture a bit of his childhood, and enjoy an old classic all at the same time!
