Creative Technology ZEN Vision:M (30 GB) Black Digital Media Player

I've had my Vision:M for over a year now and love it.
I compared and researched video mp3 players for a while before deciding on the Vision:M and am happy with my decision.

Pros:
- Video quality is excellent! Just go look online at some of the side-by-side pictures of this next to the iPod video player. The Vision:M has higher quality and a clearer picture.
-Having photos on here or even home videos is really neat, and you can make slideshows set to tunes. I haven't gotten this far with it myself but will when I have the time.
-Ability to record FM radio and voice and listen to FM is perfect! If you listen to the radio and hear a song you can set your programmable preset button to record on the spot!
-Battery Life is supreme.

Cons:
- The scroll pad is weird and hard to get used to. But once you do, I think you'll like it.
- Finding podcasts that were worth anything and not in iTunes format was very hard. I was frustrated at first with all of the different file types out there (music and video) and the compatibility issues. I almost took my Zen back to get the iPod but finally found my way and now I am happy. The Creative allows multiple file types, whereas the iPod only lets you use their file types (so they can make even more money off you).
I ended up getting a video converter software that allows you to convert any type of video - not free, but worth it. Now I can transfer TV shows, etc.
-Fingerprints! I have the black one and it picks up everything. I got a case... and problem solved.
-It is quite bulky - but if you think about it, it's a little mini computer so I guess it is worth it to have the video quality you get!

If you just need something for music/mp3's don't bother with the video player - but for video this one is A+. However, if you like your TV shows...get it. I use mine at the gym when I am doing cardio and watch shows and it makes it much more bearable.

Overall, I'd recommend this over the iPod any day. The video quality is the main selling point, but the economical price comes in a close second.
