Creative Technology ZEN V Plus (8 GB, 2000 Songs) Digital Media Player (70PF2073001E1)

The item was purchased because of the quality of the product. It also offered the option of using a computer or encoding in-line recording. This is the second Zen purchased as a gift for my nephew. I like their product very much and would recommend it to anyone.

Small. Easy to use. Easy transfer. Plays Mp3s.
This is a simple machine. Pretty good single purpose device. Not a fan of the Apple format, so this works well for me. I make playlists on the PC & transfer to the player. These (V plus) are hard to find now. The ZEN is similar & I will probably upgrade as soon as they offer a dock w/ speakers.

I love our creative zen v plus, it has worked beautifully. It holds most of our music and we take it in car, plane, and boat. I like that it doesn't have a hard drive that can crash, instead it uses flash memory. Overall I highly recommend it. After one year of use we have had no problems!

I have tried to make this work every way that i can. I have read the instructions, and it just does not work. NOT TO MENTION that in the sellers description, it says that it had an FM tuner in it.... IT HAS NO TUNER. I spent a lot of money, and i have nothing to show for it. FRUSTRATED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!!

I like that it has a large storage capacity.The sound quality is not as good as the Zen Micro. The screen resolution is quite good but the screen is really too small for comfortable viewing of either pics or videos. I think that they sacrificed sound and "viewability" for the sake of making it small. I wouldn't mind something a bit larger/heavier if that meant better quality.

It's smaller than current Zen models, has a huge memory and very good battery life. The display is too small for video, but as a music player with radio it is very, very good.
Cons? Nothing major, but it should have had a RDS capable tuner and the menu system could have been more elegant.
A shame that Creative discontinued it so soon, I was overjoyed to find a refurbished one when I lost the one that's been my favourite gadget for two years.

I love this things. Very easy to use, I have never had a problem with them. This is my fourth one i have bought and the only reason for buying four is i can never keep enough songs for the whole family to enjoy.

This tiny MP3 player is so much better than the ipod. Creative Labs products are the best. Great functionality! Creator of the Soundblaster card, this product really sounds so much better than ipod. It's easy to transfer music, vids, pics, and the recorder, alarm, clock and radio work flawlessly. It has really great FM reception. You can get any number of accessories for it at reasonable pricing on ebay. Leather cases, pouches, skins, etc. It has a really great menu. I'm not that thrilled with batts that you can't change without having to disassemble the device. So it is just as great as the old Zen Micro or Microphotos, except for that drawback.

I love this MP3 player. This is my third one. My first was 1G (way too small), I lost my second on a bus, and I ordered an exact replacement. I love the small size yet 8G capacity. I love the ease of bookmarking. I mainly use it to listen to books and that feature is crutial. I have had some kinks. If you fast forward or rewind too much, (and too much varies, it seems fickle) it will freeze and have to be reset. Not a major issue for me, though. Overall, I adore my zen.
