This is my 2nd Zen purchase. My 1st was a Vision M. I bought this unit as a present for my wife (who said she had no use for a MP3 player). She has issues when it comes to operating electronics, but now when I see her, she has the ear plugs in and rock'n out. The controls are such that even she figured it out! I can easily recommend this for those that do not wish to be tied down to an iPod.

It's a great product and I'm hoping to be able to use one someday, but the seller I got mine from, thegorjusone, sent me one that doesn't work and refuses to honor his money back guarantee; Ebay took down the auction so I can't leave feedback about him, but the product is good. I'm going to get the 30GB model.

I wanted the player for my wife. It is in excellent cosmetic condition. The frozen harddrive problem was very easy to fix. The price was very fair and I am completely satisfied with the purchase.

i decided to buy it because somebody stole my mp3 player about 2 months ago, and i used it so much because it was so wonderful. i bought one just like it. unfortunatly, the one i bought doesnt work, but i can still tell you the features because i owned a zen microphoto before.

I have had a samsung-would not recomend!!, a ipod-nice and slim decent battery life when new but the ipod is waaaaaaay over priced for what you get!! I took mine back and did some research and found that unlike the ipod the creative has a removeable battery and is easily found on ebay. The life of the battery is great and the ease of use is the same as the ipod--the only down side of this player is the lack of accesories but it's the same for all mp3 players because of the strangle hold that apple has on the market. In the end do you want to buy a mp3 player that you can not replace the battery of and you WILL have to change the battery in it or do you want something a little thicker that works just as well if not better and you can replace the battery in it!!

My daughter really likes this MP3 player and was a great christmas gift! There are so many out there and this one was a great choice.

I like everything except the sensibility of the buttons when changing music or volume. You can rip music to it from any program, in 2 formats, you can put music and it's not so tiny that you can lose but I'd say it's the size of your cell phone. Battery lasts for a long time

After much shopping around I, I finally chose a Zen MicroPhoto. The pricing is super low compared to IPODs of a similiar storage size. (New ZEN is around $189 for 8gb, while a new IPOD is $200 for 1-2gb)

The photos are clear and sharp, although I wish the screen was a touch bigger. It holds all the music I could think of to put on it with room to spare. I am using around 3gb and I have over 2000 songs on it.

The only drawback that I have had is that it is not compatable with Windows ME which is the operating system I use on my laptop, so I do have to load it from my desktop. And the colored enamel will chip around the corners if it gets bumped around alot. I use a swivel case for it but there really is not an abundance of protection.

There are a ton more accessories for the IPOD, but I have found that the generic speakers and car fm transmitters that work thru the headphone jack work just fine for me.

I am very happy with the sound quality and I would definetly purchase this item again.

Plus the blue lights just look neat!!!

And with the extras like voice recorder, FM recorder, FM radio, calender, etc. It will quickly become a favorite for anyone who uses it.
