Remember when the 70's brought home projects with a father and son or mother and son, time bonding (that doesn't exist anylonger). That's what this book reminds me or a great aunt who loved to do projects with just about anyone. Sand casting seems to be a great idea for two or more to complete. Step by step casting instructions, and plenty of time to mess around and learn sand casting.
You can use paper or other tools to learn techniques. Even stain glass is covered in this book. If you want to learn about figurines it's covered in this book as well. 96 pages will guide you through Carla & John Kenny idealism on sand casting & more. I enjoyed looking at this book for the first time. Another timeless art, I should think this was a famous creative design from the 70's and probably still active today.
Book is very durable after 30 years on use. Photos really gave a great idea and can improve your own ideas or use the ones in the book on your projects. I like the books last quote "Leaving your fingerprints in the sands of time".
Hollow casting, coloring, reinforcing, kneading, cement, clay, sand & lots to go over in such you will learn fast and easy.
