This book shows you precisly how to make beautiful drawings using pastels, watercolors and other media mixed with colored pencils. The results are so much more vibrant than using one media alone. I learned alot of techniques I had never heard of combining before. Vey informative. Good information on the different brands of colored pencils and the pros and cons.

) It is a wonderful editions full of sample for every color pencil technique. It is in a good condition. For me, is not exactly what I was looking for but I will definitely will recommend it for some one who wants to draw or is studying art. I decided to buy it because of the price, art books are very expense in any art store or bookstore. The edition is fantastic, and I am sure it will help me a little bit for the reason I bought if for. I am a crafter person not an artist some my opinion is based on that.

Creative Colored Pencil Workshop (2007)This is an excellent instruction book for artists-to-be. The book is in a hard cover binder and the pages are spiral bound, which is excellent to work with because you can open it flat. Full color illustrated step-by-step instructions using many mediums: colored pencil, watercolor, acrylics, ink, etc. showing you different techniques for different textures and appearances. Also included are lists of materials and illustrations of how different materials offer different results. This is a must-have book! I bought one for myself and another for a gift.
