I THINK ALL THE "FOR DUMMIES" BOOKS ARE PRETTY WELL DONE. THEY USE HUMOR TO HOLD YOUR ATTENTION. THIS BOOK IS ESPECIALLY GOOD FOR BEGINNERS I THINK. I'VE BEEN DOING THIS AWHILE BUT I ALSO READ SOME TIPS AND IDEAS I HADN'T THOUGHT OF OR HAD THOUGHT OF IN A DIFFERENT WAY. I'M ALWAYS LOOKING FOR GOOD IDEAS. THIS BOOK HAS SOME.

I made the mistake of reading another book first, but this one was a great overview and would really help someone just starting out. Plus its a great reminder to have around.

Like any "... For Dummies" book, this was amazingly easy to understand and follow. It highlighted and explained the basic and 'not-so-basic' aspects of creating web pages, thus transforming even the most inexperienced Internet Surfer into a competent web-designer. I recommend this to anyone who is interested in getting into this field, whether it be for fun or for business.

I was totally clueless in this department...so I fit the "for Dummies" requirement. It is very well written and packed with helpful info. I am on my way to having a Webpage!

Good book, I have books from the same series and they are quite informative. I needed the book for web desing and it got me started and is still informing me about things to keep in mind when writing.

I purchased this book because I wanted to learn how do do a web page since I have never made one. The book is very informative, has step by step instructions and is easy to understand. There is nothing to dislike about this book.

I liked this book because I am trying to build my website http://www.ALilWhimsy.com and I needed help with all of the website lingo that I am not familiar with. It breaks down things so that any "dummy" can understand. I decided to buy it as a reference for my website building. It was cheap and a good deal.
