i really liked this game for the fact that they had made it for the PS2. i decided to buy it because i really loved the game in the arcades so i just said "why not have it at home."

This was somewhat like the origional Arcade game but yes it was still a very fun game.
However i would not recomend buying this game. I believe that it is only for renting!

I had this game for the Dreamcast many years ago and it got me through some mind numbingly boring college days/nights. Best of all, it's one of the few games that girls LOVE to play. SERIOUSLY. LOVE TO PLAY. I had to pry the controller away sometimes. More than a few dates didn't make it to a dinner reservation because they got preoccupied with "The TAXI." For playing by yourself, it's enough for some simple thoughtless distraction that will last 30-90 minutes at a time, but not the only game you'd want with you on a deserted island. My recommendation: Rent it. You may be TAXI'd out after a day or so. If you find it addictive enough to buy it, it's only 20 bucks or less (new) if you find the right seller. But for the most mileage for your fare, try to find a buddy to ride shotgun.

I thought the graphics and game play on this game were sharp and good. It was pretty fun burning up the streets in mission and arcade mode. I found a few things to unlock through game play but not very much, just a few vehicles and one a really crazy vehicle. It is fun for a while but falls short in depth. Its worth a look. Just dont drop alot of money into it.

The Graphics Are great on the PS2, The whole Idea is to get around town in two different cities delivering customers to different destinations. It's a very fun game, Involving alot of funny people, Language is not very kid friendly, though. All in all it is a great family game on any family night when you mute the sound.

When this game first came out on Dreamcast my friend and I played it to death! As we got older and life got in the way I've finally decided I wanted to get it again. The music is addicting and matches the game play so well. It's just a simple goofy game that is hours of fun!

I love this game! I first found this game at the arcade, and when I found out it was available in PS2 I HAD to have it. The only negative is with SONY. I have a PS3 system 80 Gig that is supposed to be backward compatible and without a software upgrade this game did NOT work.

Crazy for Crazy Taxi!!!I first played this game when it was originally released on the Sega Dreamcast back in 99 or 2000. I loved it then and wanted it, but couldn't afford the system. Recently got a PS2 and borrowed it from a friend and now have my own copy. Bad ass punk rock from Epitaph Records (Bad Religion and Offspring) are featured on this game, and all you do is drive like a psychopath to get your fares to their location as fast as possible, by any means possible! High intensity quick paced action. You get a higher tip for avoiding hitting the other cars and obstacles while weaving through traffic, jumping, driving over rooftops, through city parks and even under water! Lots of fun, great music, and a game you can play with your family since there is no bad language or blood all over the place. So what are you waiting for? BUY IT ALREADY!!! You won't regret it, and if you do...well....too bad. :)
