Reviews Review created: 10/11/08 by: 123.serpico89 ( 3 ) more or less the same as the first Crazy Taxi, just w/ a hint of extras, i.e. u can now make ur cab jump, pick up groups of people, & added comments from the more various people u pick up. a great party game. has minigames like the crazy box (now crazy pyramid) including new ones like crazy golf & such. one big, negative aspect is that game could of used more songs, considering that the first Crazy Taxi had good bands, but had a grand total of 4 or 5 songs, & yet again lazy SEGA does the same in Crazy Taxi 2!? songs r only from Offspring and Bad Religion, which goes well with game, but there just should have been more!! if u don't have the first Crazy Taxi buy the second one. if u already have the first one DON'T buy the second one, ur not missing out on that much. (please don't buy the gamecube ports of Crazy Taxi 1 & 2, those versions r garbage). 8/10 Review ID: 10000000009035800 Was this review helpful? Report this review In comparison to its predecessor, Crazy Taxi 2 incorporates plenty of fresh features. The gameplay still has the same basics of delivering your customers in a crazy fashion. For the short solid few minutes of playtime, you're really into it either becoming frustrated, excited, or both! The "mini-games" so to speak really help in honing in on in-game skills giving you that edge. I'll admit that the traffic really gets bothersome as they seem to clutter even more and more. Also, the background music can start to sound repetitive, but that's somewhat understandable. Overall, however, this game is a good bang for the buck! I think it is a great game for the whole family. Review ID: 10000000007534201 Was this review helpful? Report this review There is really not much to dislike about this game. Yes it is essentially more of that same as in Crazy Taxi, but what's so bad about that? Crazy Taxi 2 is an excellent game that once again takes the mundane job of cabbie and turns it into an adventure. If you get tired of driving people around, there are several minigames to occupy your time and hone your driving skills. If you are looking for a game with plenty of replay value to add to your Dreamcast library, Crazy Taxi 2 is a great buy. Review ID: 10000000002033239 Was this review helpful? Report this review |
