Lets face it, it's a bad movie with a great mountain filming location, Palomar mountain. The movie wasn't very good but the Palomar Cafe & the rustic cabins are still around.

) If you like giant monster movies this one is worth a look. I bought it because the man who made the monster also created the Pillbury Doughboy but the movie stands on its own. It was released in 1977 so the creature is a little lame by today's standards but still pretty good. The pair of boat rental owners adds just the right touch of humor.

The Creater Lake MonsterNot a bad story, but the acting is terrible as is so often the case in these type of movies..But that's half the fun, right?.. The creature itself is a pretty good stop-motion Pleiseosaur. Only when they show the close up life size dinosaur head in the water, does it's very limited budget really show. If you like a good bad movie, relax have some popcorn and enjoy.
