Crash Twinsanity (PlayStation 2, 2004)

Pros
+ Same fun, trademark Crash with some twists & new characters.
+ Open-ended gameplay instead of the same old corrider searching.
+ Having to team up with Cortex to save the day.

Cons
- Crash is becoming outdated compared to PS2's big 3 platformers (Sly, Jak, & Ratchet).
- Gameplay has a few glitches.
- No co-op or multiplayer even with all the new playable characters.

Crash is getting old but Twinsanity adds some twists that separate it from your standard platformer. But anyone who has played 'Whiplash' will be slightly familiar with the gameplay found in Twinsanity. Any Crash fan will enjoy.

Must have for Crash fans. Fun platformer for any fan of platform games that don't have terribly high expectations.

The game was received in the mail promptly and in time for her birthday party. The game was still in the wrapper, and in new condition- just as promised. My daughter loves to play the game. It is a great children's game!

i have a couple other Crash bandicoot games.. theyre alot of fun.. just wantedto try it. Its alot of fun... but ive stopped playing b/c i dont know how to pass the current spot.. and i HATE, that when the game stops, and explains the up coming scene, you HAVE to watch it and cant skip through it, i hate that!!

This is a game that anyone from 7 and up can enjoy! The story line is hilarious and the graphics are great! I bought this for my daughters and I play it a whole lot more than they do!! While some of the levels may be be challenging for the younger players, they are sure to love this game even if they need help in a few spots.

The name of the game should be a clue... it is insanity doubled.. You'd better have a lot of time and patience to play this game... Save points are at extremely long intervals and some of the maneuvers are quite difficult to accomplish... if you loose your lives, you will have to repeat everything again within the savepoint locations... and re-listen to the dialouges everytime (very annoying at times)

Over all a great contagious game.. still working on getting all the crystals

I,M A CRASH FAN FROM THE BEGINNING. I HAVE THEM ALL.I LOVE THE GRAPHICS AND THE ATTENTION THEY GAVE TO DETAILS! WHAT I DID'NT LIKE IS THEY DONT LET YOU SAVE AT THE CHECK POINTS!, YOU HAVE TO FINISH EACH LEVEL OR START AT THE BEGINNING EVERYTIME, ALSO COMPARED TO WRATH OF CORTEX, SOME OF HIS MOVES WERE'NT THERE.BUT BEING A DIE HARD FAN THAT I AM, I'LL BUY ALL OF THE FUTURE CRASH GAMES TOO!!

I hope this is good as it is a Christmas present. My grandson haS pkayed it before and enjoys it. He has another Crash game and likes that so he will probably like this one.

It had been nearly 2 years since i've played a Crash Bandicoot game, until I popped this game into the PS2.
The game is fun, starts out based in a tropical area/island. It's DEFINITELY different from the last Crash game I played (Wrath of Cortex), but it's not a bad buy.
It's EASY to die, so your lives are valuable in this game. Some of the boxes that give you lives are right in front of you to get, but there's a trick to getting them and you have an 85% chance of falling off into a cliff. Sometimes it's just not worth it.
Overall, the game is great though. Good story line, and even though I didn't play a few of the games before this one, I could jump in and understand the story line. It reminds you of the controls right when you start as your playing.

I bought this game for my 8 (very soon to be 9) year old daughter. We as a family love to find a game that we all can take turns playing together. I decided on this game because we played the other Crash games and enjoyed them. We have enjoyed it for the most part, however I am finding that my husband and I do most of the playing. You have to go through really hard parts for a long period of time before auto save works. In turn that means that it takes you many tries before you get to the next level. A bit discouraging even for us. However, it has awsome graffix and it has kept us playing for a good 2 weeks now. I would recommend this game to others.

I already have two games. They are fun to play, and I play them with my
granddaughter. They have some good action, and you always are looking
for something you need to move on the the next level.

I have just about all of the crash bandicot games and this one is challengeing and fun just like all the others. Good game to learn on. Has 3 entires,easy,medium,hard good game

if you are an avid crash bandicoot junkie then you must play this one. in all of the other crashes you have had to try to defeat cortex well in this one he is one your side somewhat. he is trying to get the crystals but he also needs your help so you team up and try to get the crystals together. there are some really funny cutscenes that will have you laughing your head off. it is one of my all time favorite crash bandicoots. a must have, two thumbs up family game.

My 5 yr old has been wanting this game every since she played with her older cousin. Plus the price was cheaper than at the store.

my boys loveto play this game on Xbox at their big brother's house.They love it even more on their PS2

Bought this for my son since we have all the others. It has very few save points and some very hard levels. It is extremely frustrating for him since all of his hard work can go down the drain with the loss of life! If you are ready to be frustrated this game is for you!

This is a fun game for the whole family, some parts are a little difficult to to get through, but over all a fun game.

I bought it because my 2 girls love playing the Crash Bandicote games. They were excited about it until they started playing it. It is not one of their favorites. It is a little harder of them to play.

My seven year old son loves to play this game. If my seven yeard old (PS2 pro) can play it and has a hard time beating the game then it was worth every penny. I purchase all my Playstation 2 games for my son on ebay and always find a great deal. This was a good buy
