Crash Bandicoot [PSN] (Playstation 3) is a wonderful new age version of what Mario Bros was when it came out. It is the same style of game.
Crash Bandicoot is on a mission to save his girlfriend (like Mario saving the princess). You work your way through many different levels. Throughout you collect apples for extra lives (coins in Mario), collect 100 apples to gain one extra life for your character.
This game has everything from underwater levels, riding a hog through an entire level, and even one where you have to run the whole level away from a giant boulder like Indiana Jones. Along the way you have to defeat small enemies throughout levels like giant man eating plants and snapping turtles. Get power-ups from the tiki man to help you.
At the end of each world, there is a main bad guy to defeat. All of this to get to the end and save Crash's girl from the evil Dr. Cortex.
This is a great game for younger kids or the whole family to play. I would definitely recommend it, especially for any Mario Bros. fans out there.
