WHAT AN AWESOME GAME!!!!
Great for a pair of couples trying to have a good time!
I love this game and am glad I bought it for myself instead of waiting til at someones house who owned it.
Game layout is simple enough for all to play.
The ideas are so fantastic.
No doubt that this will be a hit in my house during the holidays and get together's

I love to play this game with a group of friends, because it always produces a lot of laughs, and is interesting enough to keep us busy for a long time. It is a game that is very well-rounded, meaning it has something for everyone. It has some aspects of pop-culture trivia, Pictionary, and even charades.

I bought this game online, and it came just before Thanksgiving, so my whole family played Thursday night. Players play each other in teams of two, so at least four people are needed. The object is to reach the center of the board with your team's game token. Tokens are moved around the board by rolling a die. Each time you move, you need to answer a question or complete a task correctly before your team can move again. There are four different categories of questions or tasks: Red=trivia, blue=creativity through art, yellow= word knowledge, green=performing arts. Each color has three subcategories-- for example, blue has drawing, drawing with your eyes closed, and sculpting with clay provided with the game. One disappointing thing about this game is many of the sub-categories in a section are very similar. My family thought green, called "Star Performer" was the most fun, as my mother tried to hum and act out the song "Stayin' Alive", I tried to mime the action "reproduce" and my brother ran around the living room pretending to be on a roller coaster.
Each color/section has its own box of cards that hold questions to answer or tasks to fulfill. Winning strategy: pick people who think similarly to you to be on a team with, and don't worry about being goofy!

The best thing about this game is that it has something for everyone. Pick drawing, humming, trivia, or whatever you're great at and it's in here! We can even play with my elderly grandparents, and they enjoy it too! I would recommend for anyone elementary age on up to 100+. Great family fun, while being a teenager group pleaser as well. Can't get much better than that!

I LOVE the game CRANIUM. I have only played it three times (since you have to have at least four players), but it is one of my favorite games. The categories to test your knowledge (and your teammates!) are Creative Cat, Star Performer, Word Worm, and Data Head. MY favorites are Star Performer and Word Worm. With Star Performer you may be asked to talk like John Wayne, or try to get your teammate to act out the Berlin Wall WITHOUT SAYING A WORD! Draw with your eyes closed in Creative Cat, spell words backwards in Word Worm, and just BE SMART in Data Head. All this while being timed! I highly recommend this game, and look forward to being able to play it with my friends again!
