I have had one a couple of month's now and it is great. The kids and wife leave it alone because it ain't fancy so I know were it's at all the time. It will also keep the wife off your back when working on her car and have greasy hands and need to answer the phone call you've been waiting on about the one part you still need to get. Keeps the wife off your back about getting greasy finger prints on the house phone. Enjoy!!!!!!

This is the greatest garage phone i have ever used
i had one and the garage got hit by lighting fried my 1st

The battery pack comes apart with three screws. After opening it has a plug in cordless battery pack that can be bought almost anywhere.

I was happy to find this Craftsman 27413 Cordless Phone on E-Bay as it has been discontinued by Sears Craftsman. I have this phone in my workshop and wanted to get one for my son to use in his workshop. The phone arrived in great shape, except for needing the battery replaced; however, this was a minor issue. The phone is an excellent item to use in a workshop. It is easy to use and can take lots of abuse while in a workshop.

its a good phone but try finding a battery for it i have spent allot of time trying to find a battery went to sears give me 1-800-# and the ext # is no good and they won't call me back and you can't talk to anyone live about it i know what i would like to do with the i-800 #

Craftsman 27413 900 MHzI really like this phone, it is a well built phone, and I have my phone in my outside garage and the receiver is in my garage that is attached to my house about 300 hundred ft apart. the reception is great very clear. And as someone said in his review that the battery can be taken appart and replace the battery pack, thats good deal. I tryed to buy another one from Sears and they said they no longer sell them. I try everything I could do to find one and I tryed Ebay and I was able to bid on one and I got the phone. I wish Sear still had them, they was a good seller, I know a few people who would buy one if they had them.
