Cracker Jack Toys by Larry White (1997, Paperback)

first i bought the book to see the different items put out thru the years by crackerjacks. prices in the book are mostly on the marked c.j. items. the otther items have most not priced. what i see is a bunch of pot metal, gum ball and cereal premiums also in the book. this book is a joke. there are a lot of crckerjack marked items in it. i was told in the 70's by a collector if it is not marked crackerjack it's not a giveaway of crackerjacks. now this author has poeple miss lead and thinking every gum ball,charms are c.j. and there not. crackerjack items where given out in c.j. boxes not gum ball machines. now days borden will be marked on items if there c.j. since they where bought out by borden. i would pass on this authors books it looks like he is out too make money not help the collector out. jerry doxey
