The Cowboys (DVD, 2007, Deluxe Edition)

This is one of my favorite John Wayne movies! The cast is great. Once you start watching, you are pulled into the story. Although there are a few very sad scenes, I still watch this over when I'm in the mood for a John Wayne classic. If you like westerns, cowboys, & family then you'll love this movie. It has something for everyone. This is one of his movies you won't regret buying.

I love this classic movie. I tried to find it local and could not, I tried to order it and the price was outrageous...then I got it on Ebay at a great price and the person who had the item for sell gave me an EXCELLENT product I will definately buy from him again!!

It had been years since I saw the movie "Cowboys". I had a chance to see it again late night on TV and fell asleep. I ordered the movie and have been real glad that I did. I've watched several times and see something new everytime. It may have taken a hundred movies for John Wayne to be come a good actor but I tell ya he really acted in this movie. I wished he could have survived somehow in the story but then there would be no justification for the Cowboys to shoot it out with the rustlers. I wished there were a couple a more chapters about them reaching home.

Really liked this movie altho it has some bad language and a scene where the boys (under 18yr old) get drunk while on a cattle drive.

This movie is GREAT!! John Wayne clearly deserved his OSCAR for this, instead of True Grit, although True grit is a good movie, this one is much, MUCH better!

This is classic John Wayne.The movie is well acted,written,directed,with great personal stories,and young boys becoming men.If you like John Wayne get this movie.

Its a John Wayne movie and i love his movies.Did not have this one in my collection.Im real happy with this buy

I like the story line with kids becoming responsible and going beyond their responsibilities. I didn't like that the boys took it upon themselves to take revenge and murder. I'm just one opinion. I would suggest people watch it and judge for themselves. All in all entertaining, but I liked some of John Waynes other movies better.

I love westerns and John Wayne! This one is my favorite on both counts. It is a very good clean western. Alot of his movies are like but this one is different.

The boys in this film are more than a mother can hope for. They ride along side John Wayne and endure the hardships of the trail drive. They show their hearts and courage in this film. One I would recommend and what an ending. One that you don't want to miss.

it was bad when the low life want his cattle for free money from that deal and they kill JW over it by shoting him in the back but the youngers did better by getting all them lowlife it was a greart movie back in the 70' and still one today

the communication about the time a tracking seemed to be a little glitchy, but other than that I say 5 stars

This is one of my husbands favorites. He is a HUGE John Wayne fan and I am trying to upgrade his collection from VHS to DVD.Wonderful movie, if you haven't seen it you need too. If you appreciate good westerns, than this is it.

this is an oldie but goody...this is one of the best John wayne, movies, this movie was made when, he was older and is about a cattle drive, with a group of very young boys...which hires as drovers, and the trails they go thru..EXCELLENT

Made by one of the best western actors of all time. John Wayne is a true cowboy. None of that brokeback mountain crap.

We were very happy with the timely response of the purchase of this movie Thank You The movie was one that were had been hoping to get, but it was harder to find than we had thought. We like to watch a lot of the old westerns, by John Wayne and other acters that have past on. The disk itself was in very good condition when it arrived. And we thouroughly enjoyed watching it.
