Come on, we all know this is "voted the Greatest Anime of all time," theoretically speaking. Cowboy Bebop aired Cartoon Network countless times and received prestigious ratings world-wide. The good thing about this is that the set is the COMPLETE collection and REMIX-ed for that matter. Why spend 24.99 for each DVD when you can pick this up for less than 50 bucks? The sound is digitally remastered as well as some or the majority of the animation, so this is the absolute must-buy anime dvd this summer!

For those who have not seen the series, the episodes are all entirely different and there are hardly any one of them that connects chronologically. Fortunately, each episode represent a portion of all the characters and with various themes/styles for each. Check this DVD set and buy!

Never got the item after waiting for delivery because they oversold and ended up out of stock. Listing said they had like over 60 of them. Seller did not communicate the situation till after they refunded my money through pay pal.

Of course no one could make Bebop any better except by making MORE Bebop, unless it was simply to take the Bebop we got and give it better sound than the original recording could do. And this is just what the Remix does: turns squashed dvd two channel track into Dolby 5.1 surround - much more in keeping with what Yoko Kanno's Master would have sounded like should we have been there to hear it recorded live. For those of us who aren't so lucky, Miss Kanno still never sounded so good. If your skin (and mind) reacted to her incredible soundtrack on the dvd you'll be bowing your gozimatsu's (excuse my spelling) like the Energizer Bunny when you plug this one in to a home theatre set. I bought the Remix one volume collection just to have a back up of my precious Bebop plates full stop, but what a thrill ride I got as an added bonus when I gave them a test ride to check for defects and relived the soundtrack in it's upgraded version. Beauty. Even the spoken dialogue is better, and you who know the series well are aware that some of the characters, Vicious, especially, likes to whisper almost his already low, slightly growled lines. In 5.1 they come in clean and clear through a separate channel, so Real Folk like myself with hearing defect Blues (pun intended - my bad) appreciate the clarity. Of course it means bombs and bullits are also sharper, too, so I'm kinda glad in my set up they hit on a different channel (and speaker) than the one I tend to cuddle closest to deliberately to catch speach. When I want to hear the songs like - geeze my minds' blank - I think it's 'In the Rain', anyway the music to the two episodes "Ballad of Fallen Angels" where Spike and Vicious duke it out Gun&Sword style as they prefer - I get into the sweet spot configuration to get all the nuiances of every chord and instrument and voice.

Remix is worth getting in Single volume just because it's Cowboy Bebop and if it keeps selling enough they may be convinved to bring it back to life for it's 10th anniversary (Stateside) with a totally new series (NO, SPIKE IS NOT DEAD and I can PROVE IT WITH SCENES FROM THE ACTUAL ANIME - and even if he were - who cares they can do a pre-quel like the movie), or a new movie.
BUT, the music in 5.1 Dolby makes it all the better. A BluRay of the Movie will be coming out, too; so that will be worth for picture quality, you can't beat Miss Yoko Kanno at her best and the Original Series is where she shines in the Bebop universe.

No wonder it has been voted the best anime in history by people in the industry. Ten years after it was made. Cool is always cool.

This is the real-deal not the 3 DVD bootleg import with questionable quality. It is a breath of fresh air that this set is re-released at a fraction of the cost of the Perfect Sessions Boxset. If your collection has less than 6 DVD's you most likely have purchased the unlicensed import.

Cowboy Bebop is great, Adult Swim really got me into the series. I am usually not one for what I call "space anime" or "mech" and I thought this would be one of those. I am gald I gave it a chance. The charachters are flused brilliantly, with each charachter having an episode dedicated to them. If you like this anime I highty recommend Samurai Champloo, which is directed by the same guy as this.

This is one of the best anime series I've ever watched. It has a great soundtrack, second only to that of Samurai Champloo. The english dubs are probably the best I've heard, and it also has subs for those of you who prefer them. It is only 26 episodes, so it is short but sweet which, in my opinion, makes for a better anime series. Two things I disliked: this set does not have artwork that was included in previous sets, and kind of a lack of cool bonus features. For the price that you can get these sets at I guess leaving the artwork out and fancy packaging makes sense. Don't get me wrong on the bonus features either. It has the basics: voice commentaries, tv spots/trailers, and american voice actor interviews. I was just hoping for more, but it is a Japanese anime so you can't expect to much cool stuff on the American dvds.

Im a big fan of Cowboy Bebop. The music, characters and story is something you will always remember. If your a fan of anime and sifi, your love this Dvd collection. It has the entire series of Cowboy Bebop, only 2 seasons but you'll watch it over and over enjoying the great detail put into every episode, or session as they call it in Bebop. Its about a band of bounty hunters in the year 2071. Spike is the main character, with a mysterious past and an reckless future, you'll enjoy watching him chase down bounty heads with the aid of his pals Jet, Faye, Edward and Ein. This anime is truly in a genre in its own, that any anime lover will enjoy, see ya space cowboy.

Quick and as advertised. The product was discounted because of a cd missing in the set. Quite a discount too. Would buy again from this seller.

After the Cowboy Bebop Remix DVD box set arrived about 3 or 4 days ago, I immediately started watching it. First I only finished 2 episodes, but then last night I finished up the other 24 episodes in one sitting. The extras on 6-disc set are limited, but the actual show itself is good enough for that not to matter one bit. And, although I don't have a 5.1 setup, the box set supports remastered audio up to 5.1 which is supposed to be the purpose of the box set in the first place.

So, all in all:

If you have a 5.1 setup and the older box set (that doesn't support 5.1), I'd say that it's up to you whether or not the improved audio is worth the extra money. However, if you don't have the original box set and you're a Bebop fan whether you've seen the entire series or not: definitely get this box set. It's well worth the money and is a great series. My personal favorite anime of all time, being someone who doesn't particularly like anime or jazz (which is the recurring music genre in almost all of the episodes)

cowboy bebop is one of the greatest anime series. i am not even what you would consider a fan of anime show and i really like cowboy bebop. not quiet the stereotypical anime. much cheaper to buy complete collection than seperate sessions

i decided to but it because its such a good price for a complete version of this cartoon. i love the cartoon so i had to have it.

This boxed set is worth buying. The complete collection comes in a plastic box that I've heard some people complain about. Some say the discs are too difficult to snap free from the case although I've found that with the right technique a person can remove the discs with the risk of causing any harm to the DVD. The case must be flat on a solid surface and with a thumb a person should press down on the plastic anchoring the disc with firm pressure and the disc usually frees itself after that, no prying is necessary.

Everything came in the mail as expected. The DVD case was un-harmed and everything was done as promised. Great quality and fast service. Will buy from again in the near future.

I really enjoy this series. I am new to the anime community and have seen Berserk, Deathnote, and Trigun. This series is just as good as any of the others I have seen and is better in some respects.

Great Series its about a life of a group of bounty hunter in space and as the story unfolds a little piece of info about each of them are reviled in each episode very good anime can not wait to see the live action.

Fast shipping arrived days before I thought it would, no damage, neatly packed, and was the real thing. bought it beacause I love Anime and this is a good place to get it.

This is one of the best anime series I have seen. It was worth adding to my collection. The story line is great, as well as the characters. The only thing I didn't like about it was the case didn't come with a dust/slip cover like some of the other versions do. Other than that, I highly recommend watching this series or even buying it. If you're into anime.
