This is a wonderfully written, timeless adventure book. I had to buy the book for school, but I would have read it even if I didn't have to. If you're interested in the movie, the book is better.

I loved the movie and it's my boyfriend's favorite movie. I bought the book for him and am planning on giving it to him for Christmas.

Fantastic book, read it because I really liked the movie. I'd almost have to say they are two different stories involving the some of the same characters. Kept me reading for hours. Edmond's plotting and scheming to get his revenge comes through much better in the book. Highly Recommended!
