  Classic Theology

Executed by the Nazis for his faith, this is Bonhoffer's classic work. Easy to read and undersand. It is well written. I consider this the best of his writings. This work is for all of those that are interested in the words of Jesus regarding discipleship. Bonhoffer writes with authority and crosses all lines of Christian faith. Any student interested in the Bible should enjoy this work.

  Cost of Discipleship

I enjoyed this book. It was very inspirational.
This book challenges the individual Christian to think just what being a follower of Jesus Christ involves and how this should influence our perspective of life. “Only he who believes is obedient and only he who is obedient believes,” Bonhoeffer once said.

The ” memoir” at the beginning of the book provides a brief sketch of Bonhoeffer’s life. A prominent and accomplished Christian leader in Germany prior to Hitler’s rise to power, he quickly became heavily involved in the resistance to Nazi efforts, particularly through the Confessing Church, a declaration and organized movement in what was essentially a Nazi regime takeover of the German evangelical church. This resistance eventually cost Bonhoeffer his life.

Book arrived pretty quickly and in good condition. quick and easy transaction. The book itself is pretty great itself. I have yet to finish it, but so far it has been great. If you want a good theology book that really challenges your faith, then this is a must read.
