A lovely voice

Corinne Bailey Rae has such a lovely voice. She reminds me of the late Minnie Ripperton. This cd is very easy to listen to....most enjoyable.

) The whole cd resonates with Raes soft as air voice. I bought this cd for the two songs I was most familiar with but found myself enjoying each song. Great addition to my jazz collection.

This is a great, mellow CD. Bluesy and literate.
) This CD has a lot of great cuts. I heard the one song on a movie and knew I had to have it. I was not dissappointed. This is one of those moody CDs you buy to help you out of slumps and have going in the background.

) Another Top pick. From the first note to the last, Rae's voice is pure and soulful. It is hard to believe that she is so young. The music is certainly ageless. I'm reminded of Sade with a hint of Macie Gray. Put Your Records On may be the hit single (and it is a great song), but this album has MUCH more to offer. A true pleasure.
