I decided to purchase this item because the seller was offering free shipping, and I enjoy comedies. This movie was funny, but not appropriate for younger children.

I thought it was funny,but maybe it was a bit dumb funny.I could tell where it was going from the start,without reading the box.It has some good parts,but I wouldn't pay more than five dollars for it.

) I just adore this movie. Jack Palance is at hs best being a great tough guy and offsetting Chevy Chases humor. I dont care how old the movie gets, the humor new gets older and the endearing charecters stay with you. Its a laugh and excitment and warm in one movie.. not gooy warm, good warm. This is a Michelob and home fries kind of movie. Get it.. you wont regret it.

) Not Chevy's best, but still good. I bought this DVD because I like Chevy Chase. I also like Jack Palance. It wouldn't seem that these two go togeather but they do. The Moveie is more about Jack Palace's character more than Chevy's. Maybe that is why it wasn't his best.

chevy chase isn't as shining as in many of his films such as spies like us, i believe it's due to the fact that they tried to push a family is extremely important meaning, which is true, but kinda like the steve martin remake of cheaper by the dozen, the comedian cast as the lead isn't allowed to shine which brings it to an average movie
but it's one that is fairly safe and amusing for the family and it does present the message of family
