Cool Yule by Bette Midler (CD, Oct-2006, Columbia USA)

I own a lot of Christmas music and this is one of the absolute best - not a bad song in the bunch! She is clearly having a blast on the "fun" songs - her duet with Johnny Mathis is adorable!

up beat and cheery songs .... bette at her best again!! bought this cd for my mother and she loved it!

If you like Bett,you'll love this. Done in her night club style rather than modern. Nice traditional sing alone songs.

Chalk this one up as another winner for "The Divine Miss M". I missed getting it last year, but I got it this year and it's rare that I find a Christmas CD where every song is good and tastefully done! I love her Christmas version of From A Distance, and Mele Kalikimaka is a real winner, I usually don't care much for remakes but this one shines! Her duet with Johnny Mathis is great, well what more can I say? You're going to have a little bit of redundancy whenever you buy Seasonal CD. Miss M has given us traditional songs as well as other older favorites for this time of the year! Don't pass this one buy, The Divine Miss M is simply at her best her!!!!!!!

This is a great Christmas CD! It's a lot of fun to listen to. As a matter of fact, I listened to it practically everyday during the weeks leading up to Christmas.

I bought this as a gift for a co-worker, he calls me "Bette" because he loves my personality that reminds him of Bette Midler. I thought the cover of her C.D. is so creative and is so like Bette herself, fun and innovative. The C.D. is great, love her classic voice and mostly loved the song that she sang like Bing Crosby "Mele Kalikimaka" the Hawaiian Christmas song. The seller was prompt and had excellent communication. Perfect transaction all around. Thanks!

Bette's new CD Cool Yule is a big disappointment. It lacks her usual finesse, and has no emotion to it.

I bought this CD for myslef, because I love Bett Midler. This is her first Christmas CD she's made. She has a beautiful voice no matter what she signs.
