Cooking Mama: Cook Off (Wii, 2007)

Saw this auction and there were 25 of these items available at a Buy It Now price. I purchased two of these items at the Buy It Now Price and paid immediately via PayPal.

Five days later, with absolutely no contact or emails from the seller, seller refunds my payment via PayPal as the seller states they were not able to get the product from their supplier. To top it off, an Unpaid Item Dispute is filed against me by the seller with Ebay and the seller sends me multiple emails, in varying formats, asking me to accept the Mutual Withdrawal regarding the transaction. This is so that the seller can recoup their fees from Ebay on the auctions that I won.

After contacting the other buyers of this identical item, it appears that they all received the same thing; refund, a Non Paying Bidder complaint and several emails asking for a Mutual Withdrawal.

I feel this type of selling practice is reprehensible. Either the seller has the items they have listed on Ebay or they don't. For 5 days this seller kept my money, had no communication with me, but refunds my payment late at night and files a complaint against me with PayPal so he can recoup his Ebay fees paid?

I've emailed this seller asking for a comparable substitution since it is not my problem that they listed 25 items at a Buy It Now price that they couldn't get from their supplier. Do not think I will even get a response to this but I can try. This seller isn't an escrow service, but acted like one holding my money for 5 days with absolutely no communication or contact.

Also have no intention of filing for a Mutual Withdrawal so the seller can get his fees back from Ebay, I don't agree with that tactic and Ebay shouldn't suffer financially because of this seller's ineptitude.

It is extremely poor business practice to conduct your business in this matter, and I will be very skeptical about purchasing from large sellers on Ebay now because this is just unethical.

This seller will also get an Item Not Received complaint filed by me with Ebay, and receive the appropriate feedback and star ratings.

Be very careful here as the sellers feedback does show that they often times sell products that they don't have.
