Although some things are a little difficult to figure out how to do but i am very happy i purchased this game. I also like the fact you can play as different people not just mama. I would recommend this game for any one who liked the first one or any one who likes cooking games it is fun. Review ID: 10000000008219442 Was this review helpful? You can even personalize mama's clothes and the kitchen decor. And better yet, you can cook with friends. Review ID: 10000000007673721 Was this review helpful? Report this review Review created: 06/09/08 by: I'd heard a lot about the Cooking Mama games from friends and reviews, so when I finally picked up a DS, this was one of the first games I bought. I'm a big fan of any game that makes heavy use of the stylus, and Cooking Mama 2 is played entirely with the touchscreen. In the game, you follow directions to prepare foods in two different modes - cook with mama and let's cook. In the first mode, cook with mama, you learn all of the different methods of preparing the foods and in let's cook, you're sort of tested on it. Throughout the game, you get to unlock a lot of neat little extras. They're mostly to decorate pictures you can take of your finished recipes, but a few are to dress up mama and customize the top screen and the items you use during gameplay. The only thing I was less than happy with in Cooking Mama 2 is the 2-player mode, but even if I'd known what it was like before buying the game, I still would have spent the money. In 2-player mode, you only get to do single item challenges - for example, peeling apples or forming meat into a patty. I'd recommend this game to anyone with a DS. Some of the challenges/recipes get pretty hard, but there's plenty of easier ones that anyone could enjoy. Review ID: 10000000007521191 Was this review helpful? Report this review |
