Contraband [PA] [DualDisc] by Velvet Revolver (CD, Feb-2005, RCA Records USA)

Wow!! This is a great CD. I had my reservations at first, being a true Guns N' Roses fan. I also have a real affection for STP as well. So, what happens when you take two amazing rock and roll bands and merge them together? One of the best albums I've listened to in years. It's not often I find a CD I can listen to from track one all the way to the end and not find a song I don't like. Sure, I have my favorites (Big Machine, Fall to Pieces, and Superhuman) But, all the others make for an excellent listening experience as well. Every year, I pick a band to see in concert. I've seen everything from Aerosmith to Bon Jovi to Red Hot Chili Peppers...but this year the choice was simple...VR!!! Six rows from the stage, dead center...what a heart-pumping, thrilling night!!
So, in conclusion, this CD is well worth the money. When I lost my first copy of this album - I was out buying a new one the next day!!

Slash and Scott Weiland. How can you go wrong. And this PA edition has cd on one side and a dvd on the other. Good stuff.
