Everyone's a Dummy at one time or another
"Container Gardening for Dummies" is an excellent book for someone just starting out in container gardening. Keep in mind that we're all dummies until we learn about any subject. I'm a Master Gardener, now living in an apartment with space for a roof garden. I bought "Container Gardening for Dummies" because I want to teach other residents how to garden successfully in containers, which is very different from gardening in a plot in the back yard. This book is an excellent, very informative book for anyone, whether they want one plant in their living room or an extensive garden on the roof. Its easy-to-read format provides a wealth of information from choosing a container, some plants, and the soil to actually growing flowers, vegetables and fruit. I recommend "Container Gardening for Dummies" to anyone, even if they've been gardening for years. So much information in such a little book!
