Contacting Your Spirit Guide by Sylvia Browne (2002, Hardcover, Illustrated)

This is an dangerous book. The so-called "spirit guides" are actually demons. Sylvia Browne is a false prophet. She believes in reincarnation. She does not believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins. She believes in multiple gods.

Most of what she teaches is warned againt in the Bible. In Deuteronomy 18:10-11, God teaches that we are not to consult someone who is a medium or psychic or who consults the dead. Sylvia is a medium and a psychic and also consults the dead. We should stay away from her and her false teachings.

If you've read other books by Sylvia, you'll find alot of what's in this book to be a repeat. HOWEVER, the CD is excellent! The first track is an exerpt from a seminar, and was recorded live. It has alot of great information, plus it's funny! The second track is a guided meditation, and is a FANTASTIC tool for those of you who might have difficulties visualizing on your own. And if you don't care for the guided meditation, the entire track is also included word-for-word in the book. You could use this to make your own guided meditation using a tape recorder. Great stuff!

Good book for those starting out in mediumship or those who have a curiosity about it. As a practicing medium it was a little too simplistic for me. But it was a nice refresher. Sylvia is always clear and to the point and offers meditations to help you make contact and start your development. The second half of the book deals with her own experiences with her own guides. For those serious about developing their mediumship I recommend John Edward Developing Your Own Psychic Powers Audio CD.

Sylvia Browne wrote "Contacting Your Spirit Guide," to help us get in touch with our Spirit Guide. It is a short lesson that can be completed in a couple of hours or less. I thought it was a helpful meditative tool to get me started on my journey. I personally was not able to connect with my Spirit Guide by the end of the book, but with continued practice, I believe it is possible. If you need a jumpstart to connect with your Guide, than this book is for you.

This book is absolutely the best Sylvia Browne book I've ever read. It is a treasure to keep, re-read, and loan to friends only if they sign a contract agreeing to return it!

I bought this book because I am into Sylvia's teachings and belief system, I am "hungry for knowlege" when it comes to communication with my Spirit Guide whom I already have a relationship with I just wanted to use this book to increase my ability to understand when my Guide is guiding vs when I am being headstrong.
This book helped me with that. It is an easy read and easy to understand book if you are a Sylvia fan. The Meditation CD is just an added plus for me, my husband on the other had is just learning about this and he is very pleased so far also.

Fascinating book - very good read w/CD as well. Always been a fan of Sylvia Brownes work and find her books to be a good way to broaden your horizons.

After placing the order on 9/25 and not receiving it, I reported the delay on 10/19 as requested and Sender emailed that Half.com did not notify the Seller of my purchase and thought there might have been a glitch in the system. They sent the book immediately the next day.

I purchased Contacting Your Spirit Guide to see what I could learn about Spirit Guides. I really enjoyed the book very much, I learned alot. It is a very interesting book. I just wish it would have been a longer reading book.
