Conspiracy (2002, DVD)

We can not forget. History is repeated, then and now. As we look at the cable news, local news, etc., sometimes we lose perspective on what has been happening throughout history and not have patience and/or understanding on how we repeat history constantly. This movie is an insight into understanding the fear and "brainwashing" that can occur.

Protector of Bohemia and Moravia, but certainly not the protector of humanity. Well, at least that is what the movie is trying to convey, along with other zillions of holocoust documantations emphasizing on the crime against humanity which is clearly dramatized unobjectively.

Nevertheless, the movie provide excellent 'remake' on the event that started it all. A huge tour the force. The storyboard was cleverly generated from the only copy survived from the Wansee meeting.

Although it has never really been proven that 6 millions of jews annihilated during the holocoust, yet the dramatizing continues undoubtly serving political advantages to few.

An excellent movie, in which in my humble opinion: on par with Saving Private Ryan.

The title and review title says it all. I will not restate the preMis of the movie. What is observed is how the agenda and conditions necessary to achieve the unthinkable are realized. How concerned (good?) men are diplomatically & coercively muzzled, how a few others miss the big picture , how a few others remain stuck in their limited understanding and how the majority are prepared to go along and furthermore justify their involvement and support. SHAME SHAME SHAME. Your guts wrench as you watch the meeting evolve and conform to the predetermined conclusion. TRULY ENLIGHTENING IN TODAYS WORLD

Branagh can do no wrong. Firth is wasted but the most delightful surprise is the still-evolving Stanley Tucci.

For a person who loves to read or watch shows about the Nazi Period, this is a great DVD. I had the VHS copy when it first came out and purchased this to have a better copy.

Conspiracy is a well thought out story of what the meeting at Wannsee was all about. Of course having only a outline of what went on at the meeting, I thought the writer did a wonderful job of fleshing out the characters.

Most people don't realize what the Jews did to Germany. After WWI they were about the only people that had money, and they started to buy up businesses and hire the previous owners to work for them for only minimum pay. It was a bad time in Germany for the true German people. When National Socialism came along it was a rebuilding time for Germany. Germans began to prosper, and when they began to prosper again. Jewish Communism came along to try to keep the people in bondage. Of course the Germans tried to put down this, and succeed in a lot of ways.

The cast is magnificent, especially the two leads, what was done in 2 hours at that conference will never be forgotten.

I don't dislike a thing about it, I would recommend it to anyone.

Kenneth Branagh and Stanley Tucci shine in this HBO recreation of the Wannsee conference. It was January 20th, 1942 and Hitler had appointed Adolf Eichmann(Stanley Tucci) and his cool as ice, chief of security Reinhard Heydrich (Kenneth Branagh)to lay out the "final solution" to the top ranking officials. In one afternoon the fate of over six million people would be decided amidst jokes and drinks and cigars. The reality of the decision is so heinous it is galling.

The film is beautifully shot and takes great pains to give each man attending the conference a story and background. One is left with a real sense of their personhood. A few struggled with the weight of the crime they were about to commit. The viewer is privy to that struggle. At the end of the film the ultimate end of each person is flashed on the screen which gives it an odd sense of closure.

It is important to see the depths to which humanity can sink. As the Spanish-American philosopher, George Santayana said, "Those who cannot remember the past are destined to repeat it."

The whistleblower, Mel Hurtig, noted Canadian author, publisher, and leader of the National Party of Canada, told WorldNetDaily that the “secret meeting was designed to undermine the democratic process…. It was clear that the intention was to keep this important meeting about integrating the three countries out of the public eye.”

Representing the U.S. in Banff was Former U.S. Secretary of State George Schulz. Representing Mexico was Former Mexican Finance Minister Pedro Aspe. Representing Canada was Former Premier of Alberta, Peter Lougheed. The first session featured opening comments by each. The sessions that followed had names like, “A Vision for North America: Issues and Options,” “Toward a North American Energy Strategy,” “Demographic and Social Dimensions of North American Integration,” and “Border Infrastructure and Continental Prosperity.”

The event was co-hosted by the Canadian Council of Chief Executives, the business wing of Canada’s superelite, and the Canada West Foundation, a “think tank” that has been promoting regional integration.

Prominent on the panel of the “Vision for North America” session was none other than Robert Pastor, who might go down in history as the Father of the North American Union. Paster is the author of Toward A North American Community (2001) published by the globalist Institute for International Economics. He chairs the Council on Foreign Relations’ Task Force on North America and served as lead author of the CFR’s Building a North American Community (May 2005). Among other things, this document proposes a North American “security perimeter” around all three nations by 2010. It was this that inspired CNN commentator Lou Dobbs to wonder, last summer, if our elites “had gone mad.”
Providing the keynote address at the Banff confab was our very own Donald Rumsfeld, Secretary of Defense, U.S. Department of Defense. Rummy’s speech was entitled, “Opportunities for Security Cooperation in North America: Military-to-Military Cooperation.”
The nation-state, under attack from many libertarians as well as globalists, will be extinct in another decade or so if all this comes to pass.
