Confident Baby Care by Jo Frost (2008, Paperback)

I love her on Supernanny but she doesn't know jack about infants. There are the basics that seem to be in every baby book but what sent me over the edge was her opinion about animals. I say opinion because it is medical fact that if you expose a baby to a stimulus like animal fur and the animal itself, there is less of a chance of an allergy forming. She says to keep all animals away for a full year and that is absolutely rediculous. I have 2 dogs and 6 cats and work in a animal hospital. The day I brought my son home, my one dog barked right by him and he didn't flinch. He also sleeps in close proximity to some of the cats and loves to watch and pet them. She needs to get a reality check and stop making her opinions sound like facts.
