Here in Florida every room in the home has ceiling fans. What if there was a remote you could use to turn on a fan anytime without grapping a ladder to climb up and manually switch forward to reverse or sometimes that cord breaks while trying to speed the fan or turn on the light? Well now there is and we got a chance to buy three remotes for only $200. Separately they can cost up to $150 each.
This remote has reverse; hi, med and low, and off button. You will install an additional light switch which has the remote eye and also a control panel. I installed this switch in five minutes and now setting inside my bedroom can access the fan easily from bed. The green button is for your light, the remote has the ability to dim your light on your fans, and this is an added bonus when you buy these remote controls.
No broken remotes yet, all 3 are working fine after six months. You cannot use this remote on outdoor fans or hugger fans. If your existing fan has PS-3022 fan mount this remote is not compatible. I like that the wall unit already had 12 volt battery, also two wall plates came with this unit white or almond color, Oh yeah dirty hands clean easily off wall unit or remote.
I rated 5***** on this product, very pleased on no more reaching or dragging out the ladder or chair to manage ceiling fans. We have eight foot ceilings here in our home; most Florida homes have vaulted ceilings. All you have to do is remove the old wall switch you use to turn your existing fan on with the new electronic switch. This new switch has red eye technology which works conjunction with the red eye located on your remote control.
