Concert for George 2003

Intro with Indian music was not to my liking...too long. However, the bulk of the concert was excellent. The concert was a tribute to the music of George Harrison and featured his son Dhani, along with Jeff Lynne, Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, Tom Petty, and many more famous musician friends of George. I thought Billy Preston was especially outstanding. While my Guitar Gently Weeps featured Eric Clapton and Paul McCartney and was excellent sounding just like the original. Wah Wah was terrific...I couldn't help but to try to get a glimpse of McCartney since George wrote this song about the bickering and fighting the Beatles went through during their break-up. Traveling Wilbury songs were well done but certainly missed Roy Orbison. Jeff Lynne did a great job on vocals. Too bad Bob Dylan didn't show up. The concert was very professional and upbeat. Well worth the purchase.
