Conan (Xbox 360, 2007)

this game is awesome i love the combo's, the adventure, and the overall fun of the game. It isnt extremely hard, which makes me not get frustrated and makes it more fun.

I bought this game after playing the "Viking" xbox 360 game and let me say that this game is so much better. There are a ton of fun moves and is a solid hack-and-slash game. Its fun to play, good levels, enough said..not a waste of money and certainly a game worth playing!

Basic fighting adventure game. It doesn't require much attention to bash your way through levels and enemies, there's nothing too difficult in the way of puzzles. However the game does have some nice fighting combos and decent enough graphics to keep your attention to the end. If your just looking for a game to pop in and have a blood bath this is for you. Playtime was approximately 7-8 hours on the first play-through for both my wife and myself.

Well, the first thing that I loved about this game was the title itself. Conan. I grew up watching those movies, infact the first time I remember going to the theater was a double feature with Conan the Barbarian and Raiders of the Lost Arc. I was only 4 years old but somehow I remember. When I saw that XBOX 360 had Conan for their system I needed to get one (also OBLIVION made up my mind too to buy one).

Conan is a great hack-slash game but that's about it. It can be fun at times when I feel like playing a brainless game but that's about it. I havn't gotten that far in it, I find myself playing OBLIVION most of the time, but I do enjoy the game. I just with they had the same music from the movies in the game.

Poor gameplay, poor graphics, extremely hard later on. It's also very buggy. Don't waste your money.

This is a very detailed and fast paced action hack and slash. With a number of combos and enemies that challenge. The swordplay requires you to block, dive, and time you strokes according to the speed and defensive capabilities of your adversary. You also interact with the envro and there are a good amount of Bosses and mini bosses. A challenging game worth the small price tag. I think it may be underrated. I've played much worse and repetitive hack and slashers.

this game is bloody as hell its a great 3rd person action game with good graphics and a decent story line the gameplay is great u basically slice n dice,decapitate,murder and well kill enemies 100 diferent ways there is a few puzzles in the game but not much but overall i give it an 8.5/10

If you are a fan of the Conan comics or The Phoenix on the Sword,King Conan,Krull,etc.then you will like maybe even love this game so long as your not spending a whole lot on it(goes for about 10bucks new).It is full of all the classic Conan one liners that a non fan may find corny. The graphics are good and the artwork is what you would expect from some of the better classic Conan books.Theres some nudity and sexual connotations(which is why its rated M) pretty standard stuff for Conan. Game play has no problems. There are button mashing combos that can be upgraded as you progress through the story. Hard core gamers will find it repetitious unless they are Conan fans and they follow it through the story for the same reason they would pick up a comic book...

Combat system were okay, an okay game.

it is a game everyone should own. good story and lots of action. it is only for older gamers as its mature rating is needed for all the sword fights partial nudity and gore. but obviously it needs a little bit of all that you know its CONAN!!!!!

its a great game full of blood and guts, was caught off guard by the completly topless women, didnt know they would be full tities in the game. other than that very fun!

Loved the idea of the game, tons of gore. Love the strippers-captives. Seems to me that they spent all of their time making the Strippers stand up the way they do. No complaints here great game.

The game is pretty cool, except for the camera angles. They are horrible!! Which is to bad because the game itself has alot of strong points. It's a pretty typical hack-n-slash but with awesome combos and finishing moves. The graphics leave a little to be desired but I think it's mainly because of the horrid camera angles.

I've always been a big fan of Conan movies and I figured this game wouldn't disappoint me. I was right. It's definitely not a game I'd recommend letting your children watch you play due to the gore and sexual inuendos. The nice thing though is the developers have included an option when you first run the game to disable the gore factor. There are several ways to dismember enemies as well as disembowel them. For me it was very satisfying to watch Conan as he sliced things in half. As for the sexual side of things, you have to rescue several women and they all were clothed only in a bikini bottom or loin cloth. They were naked otherwise.

The soundtrack is excellent and reminds me of the God of War soundtracks. Of course the Conan movies have always had epic music to go along with the action, so this was to be expected.

There were a few hiccups with Conan getting stuck on the edges of scenery or enemies standing around and waiting for me to hack them to bits. Conan's moves are sluggish when compared to Kratos in the God of War games. This is really the only issue I have with the game.

The experience and upgrade system are good, but could have been better. I just think there were too many choice for upgrades. Depending on what type of weapon(s) you are using, you have a lot of choices for upgrades, like health increases and magic armor abilities.

The story is very good and moves along in logical lines. The boss fights are fun and aren't just repeats of the last boss with a different background. The enemies are different for the most part with each new stage and because of this, you are forced to use different methods of killing them. This helps to keep things fresh. I usually don't get into games like this, but hey it's Conan and an overall fun game to play.

Underrated game actually. Good action, great characterization and awesome environments. Difficulty on the default setting seems just about right; challenging but not too easy.

Not for the faint of heart. If severed limbs, entrails, and bare breasts are things that upset you, stay away from this game.

It's got GORE, it's got BOOBS, it's got CONAN!

Picking up from the extremly successful and popular CONAN franchise, this game contains all the requirements you'd expect in this genre, with all the extra fixings that made us love CONAN in the beginning.

Based on what I feel is XBOX Gauntlet style gaming experience, the name of the game is DEATH.

Basically you travell around as CONAN the barbarian in a quest that takes you to far away lands, fair maden encounters, and monsterious creature battles. I won't go into anything about the quest(plot) or any characters, but I was quite pleased with the storytelling.

The Animation is a little old, but they did capture the "LOOK" of CONAN encredably well. It's not Arnolds voice, but did anyone really expect the Governator to do voice acting for video games...

The gameplay is very easy to get used to, and the button mashing combos ALA Gauntlet make killing so simple, and even incredibly enjoyable.

A MUST HAVE title for anyone who loves GORE, the occasional boob shot of rescued damsels, and just having a piece of the CONAN Legacy definatly MAKE THIS A TITLE TO OWN!!!

The game starts out very quick. The action is above par and the cut scenes are done very well (not very long). There is some nudity, but it does not overpower the whole concept of Conan's story. I was waiting for this game since the idea was born and it was well worth the wait. Timb...

I bought this game for my husband for Christmas and he played it during any free time that he had until he beat it. He loves this game and is so glad I bought it.

This game is just classic fun. You don't have to think to much and it is really entertaining. The story line keeps you drawn in and there are many opportunities to upgrade your skills. I wish you could toggle the views but it is what it is.
