Book is same as a child has in school and makes it easier for me to learn the exact same sign and not confuse the student. Book is easy to use, big pictures.

Learning sign language from a book is to say the least... difficult! This book gives excellent descriptions and well drawn pictures with arrows to show you how to execute the sign correctly. A wide array of vocabulary that is not typically present in other sign language books. If you want to learn sign language then this is a book for you. In learning sign language, it is best to have someone that is experienced in sign language to demonstrate the sign correctly then use this book as a reference guide to refresh the memory on how to do it.

As a speech-language pathologist I bought this book to use with hearing-impaired students at school. It wasn't long before other students with normal hearing wanted to learn the signs, too. Family members enjoyed sharing it at home. It's a complete, ready reference with dozens of uses. Wonderful illustrations!

This book was being used in my daughters class with a sign language instructor working with a child with disabilities. The kids in the class are all using sign language with this child. Since my daughter and this child are good friend I too am working with them to sign and purchased the book to assist us at home and it is simple to comprehend the signs from the book! It goes way beyond simple alphabet and numerical signs which is awesome!
