The second volume in Devil's Music's appreciation of Lee Wiley takes the baton circa 1934, beginning with four studio titles (plus two alternates) recorded with Victor Young & His Orchestra. Two-thirds of the collection consists of radio broadcasts, most from the summer of 1936 when "I'm Coming, Virginia" was a favorite in her repertoire (five versions are included). Among the parade of closely matched alternates are some true obscurities; Wiley fans will have never heard several of these performances, including "Crosspatch," "Three Little Words," and the excellent "When I'm With You." ~ John Bush
