The Complete Collection [Remaster] * by Hudson & Landry (CD, Feb-2004, 3 Discs, ITP)

Thoroughly enjoyed it. At last all of the best Hudson & Landry routines. In one collection, I now have "The Hippie & the Redneck," "Ajax Liquor Store" and "Ajax Airlines." I have a 45 of "Ajax Liquor Store" with the B side containing "The Hippie & the Redneck" so it was great to get not just these 2 but all of the Hudson & Landry bits on CD. I was swept away to the earlier years and still laugh as hard at lines like the airline agent telling the caller they don't have a movie on the plane, they have a rodeo. Very good stuff. In short, I enjoyed it.

This is an excellent collection of side-splitting stand-up comedy from a team of talented comedians that will leave you laughing until you can hardly stop. These guys were very popular around the 60's and early 70's. Their humor is clean, all but a little edgy, and they are not afraid to take on such topics as gays in the locker room, or "obscene" phone calls from a phone booth. Ajax Liquor Store and Kersarge are some of my favorites. Good for a good laugh anytime.

This CD set really takes me back. I got it just for Hippie and the Redneck, but there are a lot more funny things on this set. Ajax anything now sounds like a bad idea.

Looked for Hudson and Landry items for years, finally found what I really wanted in the complete set. Very pleased with price, speedy delivery, and quality (new) of item.
