Good for bibliophile - useless for learning fencing

Thimm's book is a laundry list of texts about fencing. Very useful for bibliophiles or researches, this work doesn't help a fencer at all.
Its fascinating to see the sheer number and variety of interpretations on fencing as cataloged here. But the fencing student is better off finding modern books first, then working his way back to older, more archaic works.
