Complementary Fat Grafting by Mark J. Glasgold, Robert A. Glasgold, Samuel M. Lam (2006, Package)

I have read this book and have watched all of Dr. Samuel Lam's videos and website info to prepare for my surgery with him at LamFacialPlastics in Plano, Texas. I urge all doctors who practice fat grafting to read this book with extreme caution. These techniques that Dr. Samuel Lam employs turned out to be a complete disaster. He talks about how this artistry of his makes you look younger, more balanced, facial harmony...NOT SO! He also has invented science and talks about how his fat "grows" with time and blends beautifully...just another lie and marketing strategy. The fat resorbs, and instead, I am left with lots of hardened cysts or some sort of tough tissue that can't possibly be fat. Think of it this way, the fat he put into my brows started to stick out of the rest of the skin and I am many years out. I look older, I have bulges of skin sticking out in areas he placed the fat because there are massive lumps underneath. These areas turned my once feminine face into what looks like an angry caveman or neanderthal, and my once beautiful prominent cheekbones more prominent. This artistry of his (look at the circles in the diagram in this book) does not soften the face at all.

I have never had this problem with other plastic surgeons who have done fillers...and from what I understand this isn't supposed to happen. I only experienced this with Dr. Samuel Lam and the techniques he uses in this book. I had to see other plastic surgeons to repair what this horrible plastic surgeon has done. He is a bigshot but only in his own mind.
