Compaq H3765(Silver)

its better than expected. i had to buy the sleeve to add more memmory, but other than that it works fast and accurately. it does everything i need it to do and more. i hooked it up to a GPS reciever and loaded tomtomgo onto my hard drive. navigates great!

I have had no issues with this product and i would recommend it to anyone who wants a pocket pc. it was my first handheld, and im glad i bought it.

I have had my iPAQ for about a month now and I love. I am a mortgage broker and and it has put both my business and personal life in order. This was the reason I got it. It is doing it's job. It is truely a pocket "pc". Best of all it sync's with my laptop so if I'm in the office, all the information is in the computer. I did a lot of research and almost everything I read was positive. I now see why.

Actually its an old model pda as we watch the recent models, wi-fi not inside but you can buy one wi-fi CF card and use it. Its not working with SD card this is one important disadvantes. Battery is not long life but all these old models has this trouble. Good specification is only looks like to me its price.:)

I bought the iPaq H3765 because I spend a fair amount of time in a foreign country
whose language has been difficult for me to learn, and a new Pocket PC translation program for the language is now available that would allow me to keep a good full sentence translator and dictionary in the iPaq always available wherever I am. However, despite the fact that the price was right and the iPaq works flawlessly, its OS, Windows Mobile 2002, won't run the program (buy now, discover later), and Compaq has no upgrade to 2003 for the H3765. So I bought another PDA on eBay with 2003 installed, also at a great price, and the translator works great. I'll most likely give the iPaq as a gift to a needy friend. I never realized how helpful a PDA could be until first using the iPaq's come-with programs, and now I'm hooked. Great product, easily worth what I paid for it.

I bought this iPAQ on Ebay.com a little while ago and I love it. The battery was dead at first, but they seller was happy to send me a refund of the full price of the battery. It is those kind of people that make the world go 'round. People who are honest and willing to help in any way possible.

Now, this is one of the earliest PDAs from COMPAQ (now HP) and some time ago it was a beast.
First there's one thing we need to consider. This PDA is OLD! Yes, true oldie-goldie. In fact it's so old that wi-fi and Bluetooth options seems like a SCI-FI to this little fella; obviously we won't get into details about the GSM module :).

Anyway this little partner still can be much of a use. Back in time (when this units were dominating our palms) there were many of so called "jackets" available. Think of it like expansion slots for a PDA. You could find as much as an expansion for CF/SD cards, bar-code reader function and YES even GSM/GPRS and Bluetooth jackets! ;)

Factory installed software version is PPC 2002 (pocketpc 2002). Unfortunately it can't be upgraded to PPC2003 or even newer.

The pocket pc worked great. However You need to have a CF Expanision pack to use a CF Card or a SD memory Card. Thats would be about 399$, i think. All in all. I has good memory and it works good.

I have found this Compaq very easy to use frim the first hour I touched it. The battery life is good, but it takes a while to charge once it is fully discharged. Very intuitive screens.

These are decent hand helds for my business. I use them for soil sampling and field mapping. Sometimes they tend to loose info and erase programs though, which can be quite agrivating!

After 5 weeks I still don't have Item I paid for.Tried to e-mail seller, that didnt help. Tried to file Item not recieve complant with PAY-pal and kept getting "WE ARE HAVEING TECH PROBLEM", Tried to get assistance from Pay-Pal and could not get it across to anyone at Pay-pal that THEY had problem.Finally after reseaching contact information, found phone # for seller, no answer. finally called at 6:30 am and got answer.Seller say sorry he will take care of it. I'll believe it when I see it. So in the end your at mercy of sell. Dont expect any help from Ebay or Pay-Pal.Oh yea I accidently put feed-back to wrong Item so sells feed back says AOK instead of seller will probably screw you.....

The 3765 I received is in excellent conditon I appreciate it very much. If you run across another or more let me know. Shipping was prompt and I will be using it soon.

I bought this item because of its compact design and vivid color arrangement. Its price was a steal too.

This pda is excellent for the simple user who just needs to store some info or check their emails while on the go. It's not extravagant and lacks some of the newer options on the market today, but overall it is functional, stable and reliable.

Maintenance is easy - any DIYer could change the battery if needed. Parts are cheap and easy to find. The operating system works well and the AvantGo application is a very usefull tool, providing instant news, weather, sports and more.

If you're big on downloading a lot of stuff, this pda may not be for you. It has a small memory, although extended memory sleeves are available on the market.

I had a 3955 and this 3765 model works just like its counterpart (internet)
The complain is and will always be the latch mechanism for the writing stick (how do you fix that?)

Loved the unit and capabilities but unit is a little to heavy for my wife who was going to be the user.

I researched this product all over google and saw no bad reviews, but once I got it discovered that it does not work with vista

Excellent instrument for general use, Calender, personal notes or appointments.
I use it for specialty work, Astronomy with the adition of some programs and find it very useful for this purpose. The only thing that I have a probloem with is the short charge life of the battery, even though it is new.

This is the best of the early Pocket PCs ... 3600 and 3700 series. It is the only one that has enough of both RAM and Flash ROM to be loaded with Pocket Windows 2003 and hold the whole thing in NV-ROM. That said, these are dated and Windows Mobile 2003 is the last upgrade possible. If you can use one of these and if the price is right (in my view not over about $25), it's worth considering. With an expansion card jacket that holds CF cards, they do make good MP3 players and they have a lot of general purpose uses as well.

Note: Most of these need new internal batteries, which are about $15 by themselves (including shipping) and difficult (too difficult) for most people to install themselves. The good news is that the batteries now available have twice the capacity of the original batteries.

Works exactly how is was potrayed in the ebay listing. Portable calender, address book and contact information. Would recommend anyone to get on of these who is unable to afford one of the newer types.
