The Companion Bible by Ethelbert W. Bullinger (1989, Paperback)

I already have this Bible. I bought this one for my daughter as she is now showing more interest in the Word of GOD. You can not get a better study bible.

E.W. Bullinger spent all of his life dedicated to researching the scriptures, and the Companion Bible certainly demonstrates this. His comments, notes, insights and explanations of the scriptures are more than helpful in understanding difficult scriptures. Although his knowledge of the scriptures may not have been full, he certainly understood quite a bit more than others during his time. Great buy for a researcher, or someone who likes to know the in-depth background of the scriptures. Not for someone looking for an easy read.

I bought this for my husband and he absolutely LOVES it!! If you hunger for more and more knowledge of the Bible, this is for you! This book has so many different things in it - 198 appendices, including explanations of Hebrew words and their uses; charts; parallel passages; maps; lists of proper names; calendars; and timelines. The price of The Companion Bible is well worth it! The text is a little small but it practically has to be because it has so much information.
