So far, this game is the pinnacle of Command and Conquer series. Like Tiberium Dawn and Tiberium Storm, there's GDI and Nod duking it out over the green crystal, Tiberium, which is a very potent enrgy source, but is toxic to most life. And, there's the famous Ion Cannon GDIs got, and Nod shoots off Nukes. Unlike the first two instalments, however, there is something very new. It's called Scrin. It's a new team. And it, in my opinion, is something extremely out of the ordinary.

Graphics: 8.75
An 8.75 is pretty good. Realistic explosions, the best flames I've ever seen in a game, but because there is no unit cap, someone could build over two hundred soldiers, so amazing unit graphics is a bad idea. So, they lowered graphics, but if they didn't...

Gameplay: 9
I love this game. The selection and movement isn't hard, and the combat is simple. However, in this game, soldiers move in squads as a "unit", which is different from previous game, where a single soldier is one "unit". However, they seem to be about equal, so no complaints there. As I said earlier, the Mammoth is a tank again, and that's a plus. There's a new point I'd like to comment on. When you are selecting your map/team/color/faction, you can select the personality. The choices are Turtle, Steamroller, Rusher, and Guerilla. Each one is true to its name. They can renew a gaming experience, when the enemy just doesn't have defenses. Also, the enemy dificulties are Easy, Medium, Hard, and Brutal, giving a high amount of customization.

Replayability: 9
It's a new game, so this might turn around, but so far, I could play this game forever; there is a good amount of maps, most with multiple spawn points.

Unit Diversity: 8
Eh, GDI and Nod seem to have similar units, but Scrin brings new soldiers in. Tanks on each side include an air combatant, infantry killer, and tank fighter, but then everything else is different. I find the diversity pleasing. They are not all the exact same, but not too different.

So, as you've seen, I really like this game. It was made by EA, so some will say that this fact might not help, but I don't find that it makes a difference. I'd suggest this game to anyone who is a fan of the RTS genre.

  Great Game

This game is a great game, a nice continuation of the Command and Conquer Series. Although the graphics are supreme, you need some good video cards/memory to get 100% of what this game can offer. Even without it, the game is a blast!

That is a great game to spent your time on. Graphics are excellent and the game is easy to play. You can feel such like a real commander by means of the animated videos between game missions.

  C&C 3 Tiberium War

The game start w/ easy senario then it moves up to more challenging senario everytime you accomplished every senario. The downside of this no naval/ sea machine that you can use and ofcourse no map w/ water or sea due to lack of concept from the creator of C&C 3. What a waste games this co'z I love to see what time of sea/water machinery they got for us, But I was completely disappointed.
The games is still base on the old set-up of the old C&C so who played the old game, your still not new on the set-up.

This is a great addition to the Command and Conquer series. The graphics of the game are even better than the previous Command and Conquer release: Generals. However, you need a decent video card in order to experience the full effect. The story is about as good as the previous games, though Kane seems a bit more prophet-like than before. All in all it's a great game. If you are a fan of the Command and Conquer series, this is a must!

  Not overly impressed

Every step up from the original C&C has been impressive. I guess that the programmers have run out of creativity.

Although the tech trees are very minimal for the three races, this game makes for some epic battles. With no population cap battles are something else. Good game.

  Best in Series

Difficulty: Scalable which makes it great
Learning Curve: 0 to 15 Minutes (Depends on your level of RTS skill and familiarity with C & C)
Time Spent: 10 Hours or Less

:|First the Basics|:

Gameplay: It's wonderful, all of the amazing RTS action that you have been waiting for....Stealth missions...monstrous base building...non-stop action. Don't worry that one side is better than the other because you can tell a lot of time and I mean A LOT of time was put into balancing this game out.

Graphics: No matter what your system is this game still looks good from the jet trail of your Vertigo bombers to the tracer rounds of your infantry this game just plain looks gorgeous.

Sound: The sounds are good, what you would expect for an RTS, the screams and "Kill them all" screams your squads make as you send them into battle can get repetitive, however the voice acting is wonderful.

Value: More bang for your buck, a undeniable must have.

Tilt: Didn't I say enough already?

:Just a few words:

This is an in your face action game that will convert you to one side or the other. I started playing NOD right away and I must admit, if the NOD was recruiting today I'd sign up in a heart beat. The acting and story line is gripping and the campaigns are fun. It's constantly changing objectives so no two levels are apart. If your given the choice of going after and Air Base or the White house the next level is affected by what you choose. Say you take out the Air Base, then when you go to the White house level, they lose their air support. You actually feel like you accomplish a mission when moving on the the next.

If you actually read all the way here then there is something wrong with you. You should have been picking up the game after your read about the Gameplay. Tisk tisk, please do yourself a favor and pick up this game.

Good graphics, intense game play, and I saved $20 over Best Buy's price! Game is a continuation of the series and flows very smoothly. I recommend a search of Ebay anytime you want to buy software.

  Game O.K. Not Great.

The game is O.K. but in my opinion not as good (graphic wise) on the previous games. Game crashed on me once, saying not enough memory. Huh? I have 1 Gig Ram.
I certantly would not pay 49.00 for what is being offered.

Great RTS with system requirements that aren't too high
Review created: 10/01/09
by:

I saw this game for sale at a really low price, so I decided to buy it, and I have not been disappointed. The graphics are good (not exceptional), but good when you look at the system requirements. The cut scene movies are rather cheesy and silly, but the campaigns are great to play. They start out on the easy side of things so you get a good feel of what units and buildings you have to work with, and by the end, your fighting for your life (especially if you bump up the difficulty rating!). The variety of units provides an infinite number of ways to go about accomplishing the mission, and its not a big deal if one plan fails. All in all, this is a great game that will provide so many hours of entertainment! Buy buy buy!!!

An Awesome RTS experience, with some bugs.
Review created: 06/12/09

Old school C&C experience with amazing graphics! This game starts out easy but quickly you'll be knee deep in Nod enemies and clicking frantically for your life. I have had some problem with a bug in this game where I try to exit and it freezes to a black screen. EA's suggestions have not been helpful.
